Additional Context for Crooke-Napolitano Chat: Weaponizing Ethnicity

"Lisbon to Lugansk" (from the German Foreign Minister), is anyone else thinking "Lebensraum"?

There’s a lot of literature documenting the West’s nurturing the forces that brought forth Hitler and provided critical assistance for attaining his goals. But Hitler’s Anti-Slav animus wasn’t at all original as it appears to be of homegrown German, Nordic and British origin, although first place clearly belongs to the Vatican and the wars it waged against the Orthodox for centuries. That origin is very important as it polluted all European Christian thought (except for what Orthodoxy remained in Europe) and teamed with the 15th Century Pabal Bulls to declare that—although not named specifically—Slavs aren’t human since they aren’t “proper Christians” along with the rest of humanity the Popes condemned.

In his latest talk with Judge Napolitano, Alastair Crooke brought forth the racial/ethnic element to NATO’s strategy since The Grand Chessboard’s publication. The first five minutes of the interview are absolutely critical, although Crooke doesn’t go into the deeper background that will soon be investigated. The entire clip is worthy with attention again to what’s said from the 16-18 minute mark.

How the racial animosity described by Crooke developed is unknown to most and began well prior to World War One first within the United States and then Germany. Within the USA, it was mass immigration from mostly Southern and Eastern Europe that jammed into the Eastern industrial cities for they had no already established cultural connections like those available for Germans—German being the second major language within the USA from 1870-1920 with German newspapers, educational and religious facilities long established. Also, the “swarthy complexion” of the newest wave of immigrants was a negative for them. These new immigrants also brought new ideologies that threatened the established power structure, particularly in factories as the concept of workers associations and their importance was well understood even if they had trouble communicating with their mixture of languages. The Great Strike of 1877 had a big impact on forming perceptions of labor and also allowed for the first real efforts at propaganda within the USA aimed at demonizing workers cartels by conflating their supposed anti-American nature with the alien nature of the new wave of industrial workers. Shortly after the focus shifted to the Chinese which was also fueled by the racial animus left from the Civil War.

Yes, there was the Vatican and the Great Game with the British, but as the 19th Century drew to a close, Germany would become the core of what’s known today as Russophobia as it tried to establish and expand its own overseas Imperial possessions. Kaiser Wilhelm II and some of his key advisors held very strong views related to ethnicity or race as it was called then. The German historian Fritz Fischer did what many pervious historians failed to do and dug deep into archives, letters and diaries to illuminate the evidence that the Kaiser and his Gerneral Staff Chief Helmuth von Moltke (the younger) held very similar views. The following citations come from his Germany’s Aims in the First World War (1961), which was translated into English in 1967. The Kaiser’s response to Russia’s 1905 Revolution in a letter to Bulow reflects the attitude of Germany’s Establishment:

Shoot down, behead and eliminate the Socialists first, if need be, by a blood-bath, then war abroad. But not before, and not a tempo.

So, well before the USSR’s birth, the Establishment attitude toward socialists was already genocidal. In June 1912, the Kaiser had returned from a trip to Russia that Fischer reports:

He saw Russia’s “wealth of natural resources and of crude physical manpower” as the basis for the development of “an expansive and gigantic industrial power” which might one day crush Germany. Germany could only resist this power by an expansion of her bases, which must include expansion to the west.

Did Germany perform an “expansion to the west” or did the West expand and occupy Germany as a result Whose aims became who’s? The aggressiveness of Serbia distressed both the Germans and Austrians with the former certain that after the first Balkan War a second or third would lead to a World War where Germany’s plan said it must first defeat France before turning to Russia. Chancellor Bethmann Hollweg had devised Germany’s policy as early as 1912 with Fischer reporting thusly:

[Bethmann Hollweg] was primarily interested, not in saving the peace, but in saddling Russia with the responsibility for the war, because his policy was based on the theory that Britain could be kept out of a continental war if Russia was made to appear the aggressor.

But the Kaiser was his own policy keeper on what would happen. Fischer reports on “the Emperor’s marginal notes” to papers from these policy discussions where the Kaiser wrote:

[The coming war as] the last battle between Teutons and Slavs [which would] find the Anglo-Saxons on the side of the Slavs and Gauls.

And further:

England will undoubtedly stand behind France and Russia against Germany out of hatred and envy. The imminent struggle for existence which the Germanic peoples of Europe (Austria, Germany) will have to fight out against the Slavs (Russians) and their Latin (Gallic) supporters finds the Anglo-Saxons on the side with the Slavs. Reason: petty envy, fear of our growing big.

The above marginal notes and those that follow are from reports on the 1912-13 London Ambassador’s Conference led Fischer to conclude the Kaiser saw no way to arrive at a diplomatic solution to Germany’s “antagonism” with France and Russia.

No further conference can smooth this over, for it is not a question of high politics, but one of race—for what is at issue is whether the Germanic race is to be or not be in Europe. [Emphasis Original]

Fischer points to the importance of General Friedrich von Bernhardi’s 1912 book Deutschland und der nachste Krieg (Germany and the next war) and links its publication and the ideas it contains with that of Germany’s Establishment and writes the following that’s germane to the discussion:

In the same December, 1912, in which the Emperor ordered the psychological preparation of the nation, he instructed the Foreign Ministry that recognition of the coming life and death struggle of the Teutons against Gauls and Slavs must be made “the basis of our policy,” and allies for it must be recruited wherever they could be found.

Recall that December 1912 was in the middle of the First Balkan War and a greater war was being anticipated by all European powers. What’s key from all this is how the Kaiser, his top government advisors and German Establishment saw the coming unavoidable conflict as ethnic/racial in its essence and necessary. The German public was to be indoctrinated via propaganda to be prepared to fight an existential war against Slavs and Gauls. Anti-semitism and related German nationalism and imperial expansion was already at a high pitch prior to 1900. I find it interesting that the Germans were in a similar situation from roughly 1910 to the onset of WW1 as the USSR was from roughly 1933-1939 as both were searching for allies that would either prevent war or make victory more likely.

This history is related to magnify the importance of Crooke’s observations of the ethic/racial aspect of our current Hybrid Third World War. Crooke doesn’t quite get into the clear fact that the saving of Nazism and many of its practitioners was a policy decision made within the UK-US Camp sometime prior to the first inklings of it happening during mid-1943 in Occupied Italy. Along with that is the fact of direct contact between OSS/CIA and OUN in Western Ukraine to keep the latter alive to act as terrorists within the USSR. Cynthia Chung’s essays on that at SCF and her substack are the most recent compilation of facts related to that based on primary documents from the US archives and Congressional hearings.

The notion that Hitler’s Plan Ost arose from a vacuum is thus completely false. Germany’s Establishment didn’t perish in WW1. It survived and renewed its vigor against the combined threat of Slavic Socialism. Using Ukraine as a tool began with the Austrian/Hungarians during WW1 as a way to defend against the superior Russian army since Germany wasn’t able to disengage from the West as the 1870 campaign repeat failed. What happened then was well known to Germans and Soviets, but the Soviet policy of making a new state to mollify the nationalists was a mistake that’s only now being corrected, while the Germans made good use of their Ukie Nazis implementing Plan Ost. Within FDR’s administration were also people who knew that history. Who gave the order to save Nazism? For saved it most certainly was which violated the Allies pact on the issue—the first major lie to infect the Post-war era and fuel the Cold War.

Crooke expands on the thoughts generated in his talk with Napolitano and are easily seen in his new essay, “Jumping the Shark of Altruism – to Ethnic War.” What Crooke calls Wokeism that’s supposedly aims to exalt diversity is actually the opposite as the West attempts to cancel everything Russian, Russians, and the Russian nation, which as was the aim with those in Donbass and Plan Ost before it means genocide is the aim of the West.

Nonetheless, what shines through is that the globalists’ revolutionary zeal apparently remains undimmed. The globalist objective, firstly, remains to hasten the advent of a wider global community subscribed to their new moral order – one of Diversity, Pride, Trans-rights, and the redress of historic discrimination and wrongs.

The second objective is to oversee the assimilation of other nation-states into this new Cultural sphere of conformity and homogeneity via a ‘Rules-Based Order – one which stipulates a universal ‘Moral’ content as its sub-text.

These two objectives have been reflected in a vast expansion of Western (especially American) democracy-promotion efforts to promulgate this new culturalism.

That’s why Russia has said this conflict is existential and explains why to all nations who ask. The multiethnic nations of the emerging Multipolar World need to reject these old new rules and demand respect and compliance with the Global Majority’s agreed upon set of rules. Lurking in the background are more questions, but it ought to be clear that The Chessboard’s grand plan was put into motion 80 or so years ago with the rescue of Nazism that certainly began as a racialist/nationalist/capitalist dogma. What will happen is global diversity will defeat the attempt to homogenize humanity and its plethora of cultures. And perhaps with another thousand years of evolving humanity will no longer bother with ethnicities and just treat everyone as a human.
