This soldier has an intelligent observation point removed from the point of contact and controls one or more flying or ground drones some considerable distance away. These drones can be anything from guided weapons, flying eyes or even airborne RF signal locators seeking out enemy drone controller stations. The new soldier is a few kilometers wide and a few kilometer high. To protect such a soldier one needs a different signal link at the base station whereby the actual human is safely distant from the drone wireless link. A synthesis of the fibre optic cable a hundred metres or more from a base station might be safe enough but a few hundred more would be better. Ansar Allah even do it in sandals and prove to be remarkably capable as were their Vietnamese comrades.
