The aim appears to gather together the Global South, Global Majority nations so a united front can be formed to face down the Outlaw US Empire and its few vassals, not just over Ukraine but especially over Gaza.

You have it right. In the long run, peaceful coexistence cross the globe would be great. The US scares me with its denigration of the UN and China phobia and associated warmongering. The ijuts (a term of endearment from Uncle Sam's Misguided Children - USMC) do know that a land war in Asia is not an option, so what are the various policy objectives?

The Empire's been doing damage for decades, more than a century. And if we go back even farther, deeds which are just as dark as the Zionist's in Gaza. It's difficult to live within the Empire when you know about its crimes. My aim is to educate others so they can do what needs to be done to alter the paradigm. It's even harder for me at the moment when my daughter has just brought forth her son while many similar sons are being destroyed in Gaza. My internal outrage is huge, but so far it's been contained. I have a very high degree of contempt for the Neocons, Neoliberals, and Zionists. I know it's possible for Humans to coexist and prosper, but we are being deterred from attaining that level of existence for a Fistful of a Few Dollars More.

Congratulations, Grandpa!

I try to live and emotionally survive withing the confines we are allowed. I would prefer to spend my remaining days at the edges of the southern Greek Peloponnese or an island in the Dodecanese looking at waters Home's people might have sailed. My wife requires access to more comprehensive medical care.

Being from the Netherlands, I am a firm believer in the School of Hard Knocks. The Ukraine experience seems to bear me out, be it ever so slowly.

Americans are an amazing people, well depicted by Norman Rockwell, but currently losing that heritage. With that fierce set of independence they will always be different from the more sheeplike Europeans, never mind all their tacky self glorifying stuff. I no longer cringe, it is just part of the picture, guns, flags, patriotism, ostentatious religion, all.

We share much. I took care of my mother until she died from Alzheimer's; I trust your wife isn't so afflicted. I know hard work, triumphs and failures, homelessness and security. My third wife is awesome; the mother of my daughter tossed me aside but now can't provide for herself. Life can be fickle. I'm better for the hard times and will continue to benefit from them.
