The 'Yellow' scare has been replacing the On and Off Red Scare (going back to the 1917 Communists Revolution) for a while now.

I expect it to get louder. DoD clearly needs more dollars since China is such a big country. Taiwan will not go for a proxy war. The Chinese are also not interested in war but look at the US warmongering with a weary eye and prepare accordingly. Rational analysis is not wanted, cf. Ukraine.

thanks karl... is it possible that lindsay graham works for the military industrial complex as one of its head propagandists? he hopes to get a lot of usa money funneled into the navy, and all aspects of maintaining us hegemony in the asia area of the world... just speculation on my part, but i think this is an important part of it...

lobbying really ought to be made illegal and anyone who receives kickbacks need to go to jail.. when that happens, the usa and much of the western world might have a chance at reform..

On money, there's more than enough. Rather, it's all the other things needed to properly apply those monies. The West's main adversaries all have their MICs organized as public utilities, not as private industry, and the same is mostly true of their banking systems being directed by government if not also public utilities. In other words, it's all about good governance--nations having it will win out over those without.

The distain demonstrated in the article toward American politicians must be extremely infectous. A couple of the sentences of the article should, perhaps read: " [the] ... profound ignorance of many ... [western] ... politicians ... [about most things, suggests that] [t]heir professional competence falls far short of expected standards." Certainly the delusions demonstrated at the imperial centre also manifest among their lackey's in Europe whose professional competence is so low that it fails to register on any scale. An empire governed by ignorance and inability while being bolstered with hubris and limitless ambition will only ever get a brief mention in the annals of history. That should be a profoundly irritating realisation for those hoping for an historical legacy in the future.

The historical legacy of the Outlaw US Empire would be something to read about in the year 2500 and beyond as it won't be written by Westerners.
