I did watch The Duran interview. It seems he's very worried that Israel has gone completely off the deep end and is trying to finish the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians once and for all. I wasn't aware of that earlier. OTOH, the only thing it changes is the timing. I would have thought we'd have more time before they tried this - but then as I've said with Biden and the neocons in power, now is possibly the best time for Israel to try it.
I do suspect that Hezbollah (and hence Iran) are probably aware of the situation as much as Crooke is, if not more so given their intelligence capabilities, and this increases the probability that Hezbollah will enter the war fully once the Israeli Gaza incursion begins. Once Hezbollah does enter, if it does, that will be when Biden and the Pentagon will have to make their decision and then we'll see what's what - whether it was a trap for Hezbollah or not.
Apparently Israel is having muster problems with their reserves. Colonel Schaeffer on Napolitano thinks it will be a couple days before Israel can get its act together to do the incursion, assuming they don't rethink it based on how clearly it's going to be an extremely difficult operation, despite having several units specifically trained for such an operation inside Gaza.
As an aside, Crooke seems to be pretty ill. His coughing during The Duran interview was the worst I've seen him do. He better take it easier and maybe do fewer interviews if he's in that bad shape.

Ritter dismissed the idea of the US Special Forces helping as that would be the last thing the Israeli forces would want - having to integrate with a foreign force in a delicate operation, not to mention the potential security and PR issues if things go south.
