It's now being reported that the Zionist economy shrunk by 20% in 4Q 2023, double the estimates of Bloomberg and Reuters. No realistic estimates are provided for 2024, although the Zionist government forecast is provided at the linked report, https://www.rt.com/business/592698-israel-economy-contraction-hamas-war/

thanks karl... someone shared the meyssan article a few days ago at moa... it looks ominous... i pray for something better... also - a post for you at moa -

Karl,

Thank you for the article on ‘another Crooke Monday,’ on your substack.

I don’t seem to be able to comment there, so, the reply here. Others may enjoy too.

The Thierry Meyssan link in your article points to:

In Jerusalem, the "Conference for the Victory of Israel.”

Event held for Jewish supremacist Rabbi, Uzi Sharbaf, attended by Nutty, but no other politician.

Aside from all the other information therein contained in the article, the name of this, “previously unknown” Rabbi, is one for infamy. It just popped out at me. The name in Farsi means — Shar = evil, and baf = spinner/weaver).

I kid you not. There you have it. Event for spinner of evil. How apt.

Thanks for forwarding the comment. I have no idea why some can't comment; it's supposedly open to all.

Thank you Karl. I might add this link to a ten year old lecture by Dr Johnathon House: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zinPbUZUHDE

55 minutes

Andrei Martyanov cited this today in one of the great retorts I have listened to in some time. He is no slouch when it comes to comprehensive reference material. This lecture by Dr House is a doozy and not to be missed - I kept thinking of both Israel and Ukraine as House illuminates so many critical points of societal and battle context that led to defeat of the nazi aggressor.

It will add solid context to both the Meyssan and Crooke contributions.

My fear is that Israel will not tolerate defeat and if there is a few neutron bombs in their locker, we can expect them to be used. Likewise, the Natzo Ukraine leaders have a serious number of Nuke power stations they could be tempted to mess up.

The use of any nuclear device in West Asia will harm Zionists as well as whoever they target. Then there's the reason why Iran didn't go the nuke route as Crooke has explained several times as its conventional missiles can do far more harm with less collateral damage. Thanks for the link; I'll try to give it a look later today.

"One point from the chat is Crooke’s pronunciation of the word deterrence, which often sounds like “terrorness” and is actually IMO the more appropriate descriptive term to employ."

I'm listening to that right now. I noticed that use of the word, too. He seems hesitant to simply say "genocide"; Israel's notion of "deterrence" is clearly meaning "zero Arabs" in Palestine. Maybe some would like some Palestinians to remain as serfs to do the Israelis' laundry or something, but based on that poll, at least 70+% want Palestinians gone, and of that 46% want them dead.

The one area where "deterrence" is the right word is Israel's relations with the region. That is really entirely based on Israel's nukes. Neutering those has to be resolved before the issue of Israel can be resolved. Which is why I predict someone with the power to do so will do so before this war is over. It can be done, albeit it will be very difficult due to Israel's submarine "second strike" capability.

Crooke is right: the only way Israeli Jews can remain in the Middle East is to act like everyone else there with no special rights. Since that's unlikely to happen, I predict half or more of Jews in Palestine will eventually flee to other countries once the IDF has been defeated.

I wish I had an idea when the Israel-Hezbollah part of the war will kick off. No one wants to even guess, but you can't keep four divisions on the border indefinitely without either doing it or standing down. An army is like a prize fighter - it can't be at max fitness indefinitely.

And the IOF certainly isn't at "max fitness" now. There's speculation that Hezbollah has obtained some Iranian AD systems but has yet to use them. And then there've been many attacks on Syria; so, we must wonder at what point Assad unleashes the SAA, and not just against the Zionists.

Alastair Crooke is superb, as always. If Israel, the vilest of all nations, seriously attacks Hezbollah there will be no country left to embargo. And I'm looking forward to it.
