It's disconcerting how ordinary looking serial killers are. However the photo's of the various personnel add a chilling effect that far exceeds that of the prior realisation. What kind of person exhibits pride promoting 'gain of function' biological pathogens? How frightened is the USA governing class? We are talking about the same mentalitry that Hannah Arendt attributed to the National Socialists' system of concentration camps and the medical 'research' carried out on the inmates. It seems we are all expendable for the 1% and their obedient little lackeys - not sure which of those core groups is more deserving of contempt?
I imagine it gives us some insight into the minds of those who created the Bomb. The hatred engineered for the Anti-Communist Crusade clearly preceded WW2. How many within the US Government and Military shared Hitler's POV? The attitude shown about support for the KMT in China despite their gross criminality is an indicator--Generals Marshall and Stillwell both predicted KMT would lose because of it.
