It must be noted that the UAE was the nation that proposed the UNSC Resolution that was rapidly endorsed by 102 other nations, a clear majority of all UN member nations. Thus, the Outlaw US Empire vetoed the very democracy it claims to be the #1 supporter of, something the RoW must remember the next time the Outlaw US Empire attempts to hold a Democracy Summit.

It appears the UAE is being pulled into the Russian sphere in the Horn of Africa, the other regional area of contention. As the adage implies in the case with UAE Money (opertunity) talks and (US) bullshit walks.

Wrote a somewhat detailed letter of disapproval to my congressional representative (R) Cathy McMorris Roger's in which the congresswomans (office) replied in disagreement, "were at war" and wishing me and my family a happy Holiday and Hanukkah. Again as expected, another waste of my time.

According to this US House Representative America is at war.

Your rep Rogers made it into this RT article, https://www.rt.com/business/588922-us-ban-russian-uranium/

“The risks of continuing this dependence on Russia for our nuclear fuels are simply too great,” Republican Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers said before the vote, as quoted by Reuters. “It’s weakening America’s nuclear fuel infrastructure, which has declined significantly because of reliance on these cheap fuels,” she added."

She doesn't know what she's talking about here either. This other news item has additional info, with the situation it describes as being most probable, https://sputnikglobe.com/20231212/us-shoots-itself-in-foot-with-politically-motivated-ban-on-russian-uranium-imports-1115538909.html

Interesting as I did touch upon cheap gulf energy dependency with her, in that the current war with Hamas and popular axis resistance is alienating US interests with the OPEC+ states, furthering our need in developing more oil and gas domestic drilling

and infrastructure for these more costly reserves, knowingly these resources are being depleted.

Congresscritters often are only as smart as their staff and expect that's true in spades in this case. Again, the dysfunctional nature of the Outlaw US Empire's political-economy is to blame for this situation, a dysfunction put into place well before the discovery of oil.

You could point out to the dolt that Congress has not declared war. That would be HER job.

But yeah, why bother.

And this via Zerohedge:

"Just this week the Senate voted down a resolution that which have required a quick and full US troop drawdown from Syria, on the basis that there was never explicit Congressional authorization for the occupation in the first place."

The war, actually, is the one our "representatives" are waging against us, the citizens. Ditto fo the agencies, yadda yadda yadda.

I figured her office staff sort letters in stacks and respond accordingly to some standardized politically correct response. And yeah probably a automated program or such.

I've heard the "war stimulates our economy" argument before, and it makes me sick.

Who else won besides the American military industrial complex? Certainly not Ukraine. Certainly not Russia. I'm trying to figure out who or what the other "win" is.

In the 1930s, the Merchants of Death were explicitly linked to Wall Street during a series of Congressional hearings that looked into WW1 profiteering and banking causes of the Great Depression. There's an old saying--All wars are bankers wars--because of the profits they accrue. Perhaps you read "Catch-22" and the truth it contained? The winners are the Monopolies and Oligopolies within the economic system. The whole story takes at least one major volume of history to explain.
