As an addendum, here's a comment I wrote for the Ukraine thread at MoA that deals with the combined topics:

Since its illegal invasion of Iraq, the Outlaw US Empire has essentially fought its wars with other nation's militaries using NATO as its primary tool but also widely employing its Terrorist Foreign Legion that's existed since the end of WW2 to forward its policy goals. Don't believe me, read and listen to Dr. Hudson. I recently linked to one of the most fundamental Top Secret docs that spells out the Empire's hegemonic game plan, https://karlof1.substack.com/p/past-info-visible-today "Past Info Visible Today", that was declassified in 2006. They should have kept it in the vault as it still spells out the Empire's game plan. The main idea is to launch political wars, not military conflicts, and to use the terrorist auxiliaries as leverage as with Ukraine or Guatemala back in 1949, or Chile in 1971--the examples are many.

The world has now reached a state where there are now three Peer powers, although one is rapidly waning. In addition, the Global Majority has gained its own modicum of strength and wants a fair and just system as it says on the UN Charter but is prevented from happening because of the Outlaw US Empire and vassal's continuing hegemony. Thats why the advent of BRICS and now BRICS+ is a revolutionary occurrence as it provides a growing locus of solidarity for the Global Majority. Thus, we are watching a Revolution in real time, but it's all political, not 100% military, although a small portion is.

Yes, the Empire wants to destabilize China but it knows it lacks the power to do it alone, so it's enlisting its vassals to do its work again. And in reality, they are woefully weak also as there's no mass political will for any such confrontation despite all the propaganda. The one big chance would be to get India to completely lose its mind and attack China; but then, that's why the BRICS+ and SCO exist to neuter that possibility. Same point with including Pakistan in SCO. The Philippines is in the ASEAN and is going against its China policy in opting to be a US vassal again. The Filipino masses are against that policy, so how much longer it lasts is unknown. Did China really need to build its latest and most massive aircraft carrier? https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202405/1311543.shtml Personally, IMO there was a deal with Russia about that.

The world could become peaceful if the West ceased its hegemony. The West's behavior unfortunately tells us it doesn't want a peaceful world.

i like hudsons optimism, but it is hard to see it here at this moment.. all the effort of israel to label any alternative to zionism or right wing fanaticism ( west bank settlers) as a ''terrorist organization'' - is the same tactic the usa has used on the iran revolutionary guards... meanwhile the real terrorist is the country, or countries responsible for trying to push this concept of ''who is the terrorist'' onto the public, without question... i think many more people see this today, regardless of their knowledge of zionism, west bank settlers and etc. etc.

those who frame the conversation within the lens of the msm thru the intel agencies, wire services, are hoping to win the propaganda battle, but they are having a real problem here...

it would be a huge come down for israel to allow for a 2 state solution, in spite of the international players asking for this.. how does that work out with the israel public which has moved increasingly to the right?? i am having a hard time seeing it myself..

Two states is much better than the current state. The Israel state is a failed state that clearly has embarked on destroying neighbor states. There is no solution in imagining setting up a single state would result in anything other than what we have now:- apartheid and ethnic cleansing by the zionist entity. I would go for two states immediately and zero tolerance any further zionist attacks on neighbour states. There must be an unimpeded corridor to link the Palestinian people.

I believe this two state solution based on the 1947 border determination is the way to go right now as it has an immense legitimacy conferred by UN decision. Yes, it may not be ideal, but it is the best card in the hand to end the genocide. The future will need to impose peace on the zionists and meanwhile a very strenuous BDS needs to be applied over the decades until compensation and reparations are made to the Palestinian people. Israel needs to accept the lesson of failure and overreach and end its global belligerence. Meanwhile the USA and other westies need to stamp on their idiot pentecostal fellow travellers. That will be enough work for the next few decades IMO ;))

The drive to make a precedent by enforcing the original contract is really vital to turning the corner boosting the emerging Multipolar world. Rules that are mutually agreed upon and enforced make for a balanced world, one that attain harmony.

The breaking of the Zionists will mark the beginning of the breaking of the Outlaw US Empire.

Thank you, Karl. We can only hope but I am not staying up nights.

I don't stay up nights either as I need a good night's sleep to function properly. Being a night owl is for youth, which I enjoyed when I was younger.

Israel should insist on a One State Solution because, being

wily businessmen they know they'd soon own the whole place ?

Careful, with the House vote today, your comment could be deemed Anti-Semitic. https://www.rt.com/news/596891-jews-jesus-us-israel/

I really love this pre-emptying any other possibility, but it is so nicely formulated! “And there is the idea of a binational state in which Jews would become a minority, thus ending Israel’s status as a Jewish state. None of those alternatives would resolve the conflict – at least not without causing even greater calamities. And so if the conflict is to be resolved peacefully, the two-state solution is the only idea left standing.” Thank you, Karl. I think that. I heal will organise the transcript. He usually does 😘

Fascinating article! Thanks for posting, Karl.

All this space, which could be used to find an "ultimate" solution to the conflict, is used to discuss the absolutely dead and impossible to realize "two state" solution. We were already at this point in history decades ago. It wasn't feasible then, it is not feasible now. Only the Gaddafi promoted "Israelstine", one state solution is remotely realizable. Two state just means back to square one and another starting point for year long useless "peace talks"...

I predicted there'd be objections. What's happening is what's happening.

"... the World demands a solution and justice. "

Let's face it -- most of the world does not give a damn. Certain groups -- particularly ones close to the microphone -- see the situation as important. And a lot of those groups have ulterior motives -- they are not really concerned about the lives of the human beings in that part of the world. And that includes the leadership of Hamas.

The general populations in the Rest of the World ought to take the situations in the Middle East and the Ukraine seriously, because the potential for spinning out of control into a global thermonuclear war is high. But reality is that most people don't care.

That's not been my experience. Maybe a function of where I live, but since Oct 7, I've been accosted by random strangers & people doing work at my house (turns out my plumber sidelines as a pastor! Who knew?!? 😂) who care very much that the rapture is upon us.

Yes, unfortunately they've all turned out to be Judeo-Christian fanatics, so after losing an hour to a lecture by the chimney guy, I've taken to just tell them what they want to hear so they'll go away & leave me alone. No point trying to have a conversation with very loud stentorians who have the reading comprehension of a gnat.

The promise of redemption and eternal grace is very powerful bait for simpletons that have been propagandized since birth. I wasn't so I think very differently which is what my intellectual profession demands. It's amazing when you study UK history that the Baptists were radicals which is why they were deported--sentenced to transportation--to the Colonies.

The word salad that ensues when I ask them how they reconcile "Thou shalt not kill" with God ordering genocide would be hysterical if it weren't so tragic.

The Animals noted that in their Anti-War song "Sky Pilot" that's in the LP version, not the top-40 "45".
