I REALLY like this answer by Lavrov: “Sergey Lavrov: Let's go back to the statement by US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin, with which you began your question. I would like to draw your attention to the meaning of this statement: if Ukraine loses, then NATO will have to go against Russia. According to Sigmund Freud, he got what was on their minds. Before that, everyone said that Ukraine should not be allowed to lose, because Vladimir Putin, in their opinion, would not stop there and would "seize" the Baltic states, Poland and Finland. It turns out, according to L. Austin's open, unambiguous expression, everything is quite the opposite.”
Yes, that's why it got emphasized. That one short sentence and admission is vastly important. The intercept makes me wonder what else Russia has caught.
And here is the latest from Gilbert Doctorow…I really hope that he is right….but I do wonder:
“ Let us hope that our ideologically blinded European leaders are not also deaf, that they have heard and will heed this clear warning of devastation and death to come if they persist in escalatory policies.”
Agreed, but the key is to let go of the Narrative BS story and admit NATO invaded Ukraine in 2014 just as it tried and failed in 2004. Do that, and there becomes no need for escalation but a huge need to exit NATO and EU.
That's a very honest reply. Western elites are certainly drunk on their Propaganda Narrative to the point where they refuse to accept reality no matter how hard it bites them. But the Russians have a similar problem when it comes to Palestine as I point out in Part Two.
I have just replied to the previous comment, while this reply was passing through the cyberspace 😎. Yes, I agree, reality has become a very contested concept, instead of accepting that we, after all, live in the world. It is all so so sad!
Thanks Karl,
" Tu fais un sacré boulot"
(You're doing a great job.)
But in french "sacré" has a double meaning.
- great
- Holy
So, thanks for this great holy job with your Substack ...
Thanks for the holy praise!
I saw a couple of occurrences where the Italian Prime Minister is called Giuseppe Meloni, but the correct name is Giorgia Meloni.
Yeah, I missed correcting those during my late-night editing.

Indeed, I would go as far back as 1991. The question is WHO will restart this historical account as applied to the present BS!
The Russians and Chinese are keen to keep objective, genuine history alive and circulating for the overall story is far older.
The main problem for me is….i am so afraid it will escalate for no good reason except the total incompetence of the West…..
