Wishing FM Lavrov was younger so that he was able to represent Russia for many more years. Comparing SS Rubio to a snake will curry you no favors with actual snakes.

That's already gone Condosleezza Rice is officially Chucky.

Both she and Robert Gates managing to squeeze Rex Tillerman, ex Exxon-Mobil VP into the 2016 Trump Administration as Secretary of State. Trump likely thought Tillerson could reinvigorate some life into Exxon's old Oil & Gas fields in Russia. Then Mitt the Mormon Bain Capital Romney securing the UN for Nimrata Randhawa, aka Nikki Helley

Rubio is more your Blunderboy Robin, probably molested at private school with Graham as Fatman, the Caped Crossbenders

"The whole world has seen that the ultra-liberal ruling elites of the West are driven by hegemonic instincts. The predatory, colonial habits of the former metropolises from among the current countries of the European Union and Britain, their innate vices: arrogance, a tendency to deceit, and unscrupulousness in the conduct of business, have not disappeared." - Sergei Lavrov

No they have not disappeared. The leopard does not change its spots and even if it did, it's predatory instincts would remain the same. I believe the same is true of the West in all its many parts. Geopolitically, economically, militarily, it remains the same rapacious apex predator it always was.

It's taken me many decades to understand that the entire system that I (as a westerner) am a part of is this way. My fault for being blind to it for sure, however the system is well-camouflaged, just as a predator is concealed from its prey. Mr. Lavrov and the rest of the Kremlin must understand that superficial changes in the West's appearance are just more camouflage behind the real intent. It will take a long, long time to rid the west of those who seek to weaponize everything against everybody else.

Agreed. That’s why Lavrov insisted several times not to become giddy of the possibility of good relations retuning quickly. A great many small steps must be taken first before longer strides can be attempted. I’m very curious to read what happened in Lavrov’s meeting with Judge Napolitano and Larry Johnson. A transcript is supposed to be issued soon.

I'd agree, it can take time to work it out and time is a luxury in the west. I'd suggest that being the apex predator is in the rear view mirror which is why the behaviour has become ever more discordant and frantic, unhinged. I've seen otherwise intelligent people verbatim repeat the media lies and treat being contradicted as if being slapped in the face.

It is premature to draw any profound conclusions on this basis. By and large, we have not even begun to work on overcoming the accumulated problems and contradictions in our relations with the Americans.

So dadgum true. Speaking with forked tongue, the US leadership.

Howsomever, EU/UK is pushing the US in a corner. Trump tries to have it both ways and that will not work. There will be no unliteral ceasefire and rearming opportunities and Trump can claim that the Ukies are not cooperating, giving him some cover.

Pulling out of NATO is a biggie. The US politicians are not ready for that one, the citizens might not be either. Trump needs more warm-up exercises.

Actually, IMO the citizens are ready given a truthful explanation as to why. Essentially, the Empire is obese, has ED and needs to lose weight if its ever to get another erection.

I wonder if it won't be various vested elite circles that have the break with neoliberalism and financialisation, as I think this is Alex Krainer's now forlorn hope (he was rather downcast in an interview with Nima). China is now dismantling the western auto industry and looks set to block the BYD plant in Mexico (due to suspicions of IP theft). I strongly doubt the ability to re-industrialise as the current crop of leaders are empty suits who talk, but don't have any understanding. Getting out of the IMF and World Bank is just Trump's petulant behaviour, not a sign of a plan. For citizens to have the effect the technocratic structure will have to experience a gross failure.

Thanks, I see that one of the points, “Determining the precise causal relationships between financialization and economic outcomes is challenging. Other factors, such as technological change and globalization, also play significant roles.”, is a weak response. But overall it’s something to work with. For instance the V.O.O.C had to be rescued by the Dutch government, ditto the East India Company. I can’t see China rescuing western finance this time around. And if not China, then is J.D. Vance going to disassemble this machine? Alex Krainer has become quite disheartened, and I’d say he has cause.

Lavrov: "the need to respect the interests of all states, large and small".

Persecuting and killing a deprived section of its people is not a VALID interest of a sovereign nation.

Thus "... the need to stop the Kiev regime's practice of exterminating everything that is in one way or another connected with Russia and the Russian world – the Russian language, culture, canonical Orthodoxy and the Russian-language media." is 'respect-free'.

From 2014 the Ukrainian [ethnofascist Nazi] regime legislatively deprived, militarily invaded, committed atrocities against, and usurped the self-governance of, the culturally and linguistically Russian people of its Eastern oblasts. That is not a sovereign interest of the Ukrainian state requiring international respect.

"... the falsification of history and the undermining of spiritual and moral values lead to the degradation of state foundations and the loss of sovereignty. Ukraine sets a tragic example." The 2014 external regime change exemplifies such consequences of ethnofascist interference.

'Protective intervention' from outside the sovereign nation embarked on such a course is not only permitted, but morally required. The same applies in the case of genocidal Israel. Killing and depriving Palestinians is not a valid interest of the Israeli state.

Protective intervention of this Russian/Ukrainian type would, in a multipolar order, require an explicit United Nations mandate with a super-majority of member states, but not subject to veto by one or more dissenting members of the Security Council.

I have tried to use literal, empirically definable, rather than rhetorical, morally persuasive, terms. So 'enthnofascist'— Ancient Greek εθνος ethnos: group, band, body; race, sex; nation; people from common stock; clan; tribe; class by occupation/place in society; + Latin fasces: bundles of sticks with an axe projecting, carried by lictors [executioners of magistrates' corporal and capital sentences] before the chief Roman magistrates. An etymologically hybrid literal neologism with distinct defined meaning referring to a privileged group with extreme executive powers over the rest. In more modern terms ruling merchant corporations and their bankers.

Where is this analysis and proposal wrong?

You’re correct. The problem lies with the Ethnofascists who have declared there’s no such law applicable to them—theirs is a specialized anarchy. IMO, they should be seen as a human virus or cancer needing to be removed from Humanity’s body. And they’re everywhere. An 11-year-old male self-professed Nazi and Klan member came to my step-granddaughter’s school with a pipe bomb and a loaded handgun and was very fortunately reported and apprehended before he could do any damage aside from scaring her and many others—that was in Alabama, near Oxford. The kid’s parents need to be investigated as they’re responsible and very likely are where he got all those ideas.

For the West to join the human race e.g. the Global Majority, it must confront the bankruptcy of its financial system which dictates an Imperial/colonial war policy to increase the death rate globally to maintain the inflated debt/asset bubbles and property titles from collapsing.

Yes it was a huge disappointment upon hearing this anti Venezuelan & Cuban mouthpiece promoted into the Premier League with chump-change you can believe in.

Can it be Trumplethinskin, well aware of Marco's limitations and CV, utilises 3D indoctrination techniques that the mole (snake) distributes back to his old handlers?

Pitting lightweight Rubio against the undisputed heavyweight Lavrov one would have to think Trump was recruited by the KGB (when was it?)

In comparison to the bastard Blinky Blinken who led comatose but how can he talk if he doesn't have a brain Sleepy Joe Biden by the nut-sack, Rubio's out of harms way of the Senate, stirring the pot/nest.

Remember when Biden had some marbles left and became Obama's VP, it wasn't because O'Barry loved him, it was because he'd get less flak from the Usual Suspects.
