At the outset of the new year, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov holds an International Press Conference where he reviews the performance of Russian diplomacy over the prior year.
Prophetic words uttered in Lavrov's opening statement:
"President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said in detail, convincingly, including explaining the true root causes of the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, that we were forced to repel an attack, a war launched against us by the same "collective West" with the main goal of suppressing another competitor, which Russia has once again found itself in the international arena."
Indeed 'suppressing another competitor' and that applies to the EU as well. The usa has hobbled europe for decades to come and they don't give a sh!t as, in their febrile mind, it strengthens the usa. Morons!
The US has vassals, and they are treated as a door mat. Lavrov repeatedly, doggedly refers to the UN Charter which the US treats as worse than a door mat. No amount of wishing and speeches will bring the UN back as a meaningful organisation, not while the US continues to exist in its current form.
Indeed, the vassals are well trodden. The UN may be degraded and infiltrated by usa minions and ideology but it remains absolutely useful imo. Apart from the Russian penchant for retaining historical relics, the UN is a mighty convenient coat of legitimacy born out of a war ravaged world and solemnly signed on to by all world governments. Lately it has even stood up to the genocidal mendacity of ukusai.
It would be supreme folly if the East and South were to walk away from the framework, as it is global and complete right now and I suggest will be of extreme value in the next few decades. A few more ICC warrants combined with constant adverse reports from the Human Rights Committee in the coming year of the snake might just force ukusai to run off screaming.
In another week Trump becomes the Genocidal arms dealer in chief. Now that is enough to take to litigation and the Trump does not appreciate legal assault on his ethics and morals, so watch that space.
