Mr Lavrov managed to maintain a diplomatic politness toward Guterres for much of the pretorian press pack's repetative questions. I try to maintain some sympathy for the unsecretary-general but ultimately the dyslexia always seems to cut in and I read Gutless.
Fortunately, Lavrov has great experience in dealing with duplicitous people and doesn't cuff them as they deserve, although his choice of rejoiners serves to inform others of Guterres level of credibility.

Thank you Karl in posting this yet another most informative and commanding display of Lavrov. Regarding Iranian nuclear deal little is mentioned about Israel behind the scenes condemnation of the plan in respect to Iran's continued missile development which is truly the main centerpiece concerning Israel security in that as Lavrov stated Iran never planed to develop a nuclear bomb.
I understand that Russia does still plan to maintain the private security apparatus Wager in Africa which I believe to be of great importance and deterrence to continued colonialism and Muslim insurgencies.
I am glade to see child rights have become highlighted with considerable concern as children and are being increasingly exploited by human traffickers in conflict regions as Ukraine and Africa.
The media person who asked the question about the "missing" children was very fortunate it was Lavrov who answered and not Zakharova, who chimed in as you read. She's very hot on the issue and has said a great deal about it in her weekly briefings along with organ trafficking.
I hope this article gets as much attention as Lavrov's UNSC speech has as they are essentially connected and of a whole piece.
