a divided financial world looks to be increasing.. i wonder what it will look like in 20 years from now?

IMO, there will still be two but he Dollar Bloc will have very few members and the euro will be history. The Global Majority Bloc won't employ a national currency and will have a digital currency of some sort as its mechanism for conducting trade.

The Unit seems to be favoured. Yes, the US will draw its lackey states into it's "garrison" and ring fence them. Ditto the "internet" which the US has used to collect data and profile the world's citizens, and promote its agenda. Russia and China have the wherewithal to create their own networks for BRICS+, so I'm hopeful that this eventuates sooner than later.

Power consumption within the Empire continues to rise while no new generating capacity is constructed. And then there's 6G and Quantum Computing plus EVs to add to that consumption. IMO, the approaching Black Swan is energy and its shortage within the Dollar Bloc.

i suppose the japanese yen will also be toast... it has always be 4 - us$ british pound, euro and japanese yen...

The Paris Accords captured the Yen and made certain it could never be a dollar rival.
