Thank you karlof for this excellent post. On many posts over at MOA I have also said the same - they will not stop, they are obsessed with the destruction and then colonisation of any civilisation that resists.
It is so good to hear Putin finding the freedom and moment to say so publicly.
While waiting for the transcript to be completed, I tried to watch today's talk between Crooke and Napolitano as a great deal has been made public beyond Crooke's writings; and as with last week's, the first seven minutes are critical. I'll plug it into an article, but want to get it out to those reading this thread, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MSGD_V4_fU&t=414s
Crooke gets to the nub of it and it must be despairing for US citizens to be enduring the same shameful economic penury as do the Ukrainian soldiers who are forced to carry pockets full of cash to bribe medics to tend their wounds.
THIS! is neoliberal economics and todays Ukraine soldier fighting the Crimean war again 170 years after the last one to be faced with the same necessity to save his life is appalling. No wonder the surrenders are so large. Wars will end when men refuse to fight has long been the clarion call of pacifism and it is so pertinent today.
PS. I nearly puked when $hillary turned up in the Judges report. But so it goes.
Both the Judge and Crooke were appalled at the "life in the fast lane" news that came from one of Russia's war correspondents that Larry Johnson republished at his blog. Clinton looks more like Cruella Deville from "101 Dalmatians"--the cartoon movie and book version--and she's always sounded that way. Yes, I went past her crap too.
Once again, as always, a very useful post - and another surprising lesson in the extent & depth of the practical reason which motivates and animates both President Putin and those questions asked of him
That he makes the time to talk and to discuss to go over the same questions so fully, for yet another occasion, is itself remarkable
Yes, a very long read worthy of re-reading since there's so much to digest from so many people.
How refreshing to be a "fly on the wall" in a room full of adults. Mr. Putin's knowledge of the US really dwarfs what any American pol knows about Russia. Globally speaking as well.
I could've stopped at the speech, but the discussion always provides much more. Is this year's session more important than previous years? IMO, they're all important in their own right as the context is always different. Last year I reported it at my VK which took three articles because of VK's length restriction, which would've happened again. Each year is similar yet different. The meeting has gained international significance for its uniqueness--no other nation has a similar format. It will be interesting to see how China's BRI meeting later this month operates as China hosts many international symposia that the West is silent about.
The Big Picture situation improved just a bit with today's event. Energy is needed for development to keep citizens engaged in their improvement which serves to deter false enticements from the wicked.
This recent appeal to the OAS may seem off topic, but 'plenary' power is not a new thing for 'American Empire.' To understand 'property' claims one must understand the SCOTUS precedent: Johnson v. M'Intosh, cited in this appeal cited above. NATO's (colonial) seizing of land, local culture, identity, etc. is a continuation, not an event.
Once again if I may - Putin is in fine form and sharp as a tack and that is very reassuring in these fractured times. I just reread the entirety of it and his handling of the 'Japanese question' was superb. That, and some other responses reveal a wise soul at peak performance intellectually. Long may he live and may every civilisation be blessed with leaders and people of this calibre.

Well done, sir.

Keep the faithful supporters focused. Prepare them for the likely treacherous path ahead.
The West cannot be trusted, just look at their UNSC shenanigans.

I can only echo your sentiments!!
