thanks karl.. this was reported via cbc national news at 6pm, which i happened to be listening to in the car going back home.. of course cbc, or whatever wire service that was read out over the radio, spun it as a sign of putin's weakness... so, they added that for good measure.. they don't want canucks thinking putin is still in control here, lol..
IMO, the best approach is to let it slide and allow the intrigue to surface when it's ready. On the surface, all seems calm with Wagner forces--or however we're to refer to them as now that there're supposedly contract Russian military--and their position in Belarus is causing NATO fits. So we wait. It's tempting to speculate, so we must be strong and resist that urge.
