Having a western leader with these kinds of goals is unimaginable.

I thought the same as I pondered what to add when I was done. All for the sake of All. Poverty to be reduced, life expectancy extended, more and better medical care to accomplish that, greater education to ensure the workforce is the best possible, promote humanistic values, favor all while favoring none. And all without any connection to Western systems. Did I mention Russia's GDP growth for the year is over 5%?

No, I don't think you did. Completely doable, just not what those who control the west want to do.

Karl,

What exactly would you say to those who've been brainwashed by the Western media into believing Putin is pure evil? What is your personal rebuttal? IMHO all one has to do is listen to his speeches to realize all of Washington DC combined, doesn't have a modicum of intelligence in comparison.

As Marcjf noted, it's hard to change deeply ingrained propagandized notions. The best argument is to pummel them with facts, particularly when it comes to those nations choice of political-economy which is People Centered Development, not development for just the top 10%. Of course, to do that one must know what to highlight, and there're many points that relate to Russia's planning goals that gain be used that are present in the materials I've reported on here since I began the Gym almost a year ago. The most impressive IMO was Putin's trip at the end of 2023 to Siberia and the Far East to revue master development plans for a number of cities in those regions, and most especially in the group conversations he had with residents and key regional actors. And Putin doesn't just converse with them; he converses with students, teachers, factory workers, health care workers--AND--their proposals get included in the master plans and further legislation--participatory democracy.

What goal was it that Putin reminded those at this meeting? All this planning and its implementation is for the benefit of Russia's people--People Centered Development.

I have spoken to many such people. It is part of their psyche, their world view, their sense of self-worth almost. It has been a great PR job. You cannot shift that view.

Well family orientated policies come unstuck when you think there are 642 genders and fathers/men are evil, and of course humans generally need culling to protect the planet from our deprivations. Living now in the lunatic assylum that was once the source of enlightenment, or anyway the least worst system, it is like feeding time at the zoo watching statecraft in the West. It has occurred in my lifetime. Very sad as the Orange Satan might say.

However that was my thought exactly, if I turn my sarcasm off for a moment. You got in there first.

These articles are so depressing in that they illuminate just how pathetic, corrupt, cowardly, treasonous, and incompetent the prostiticians in the 'west' are.

I find them remarkable, quite fascinating, and a great lesson in the possibilities of governance.

Yes me too. I was being a tad facetious.

Thanks for this follow up on the May 7 decree - this decree and development plan is of paramount importance

I - still - have seen zero in the Western Press about this plan, except for off the cuff glancing references

Have you seen any analysis response or appraisal?

Thanks once again for this work you do, of paramount importance - nobody else is doing this

I don't view or read much western media nowadays; but as grr observed and I answered, the truth such reporting would reveal makes a travesty of Western policy--worse than getting defeated in Ukraine. My star performer from that meeting is Tatyana Golikova who's served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia for Social Policy, Labour, Health Care, and Pension Provision and been at the higher level of Russia's government since 2007. She could run Russia.

Thanks Karl, let me better read through the transcripts before commenting further, especially the part about TG

I'll admit that reading western press is a painful waste of time except for the purpose of observing how the latest delusions replacing the previous resemble them in every which way

There is not an ounce of truth in anything the western media purports. The moment these pundits quote anything that has been written - you know they're controlled opposition. I only stay on top of it to keep track of the extent of the subterfuge but finding the truth is getting more difficult by the day. So much of this feigned indignation being professed by these former experts is nothing more than political theater. Napolitano, Ritter, Macgregor, Sachs, Mearsheimer, Crooke, Mate, etc., etc.

It's been written - the greatest fear of those truly in charge in Washington is Putin's success and bringing not only peace to the Middle East but throughout the world. I truly believe Ukraine is a war of attrition in hopes of weakening Russia in order to prevent Putin from succeeding. All of this IMHO boils down to the CPEC and IMEC corridors and the end of America's hegemony.

And it's not just Putin. Xi Jinping has put forth a series of Global Initiatives that aim to make the goal of a shared, win-win future for Humanity a reality, which are fully in line with the three Russia/China Joint Declarations and Russia's new Foreign Policy Concept adopted last year. IMO, the path chosen by the Outlaw US Empire was a grave mistake, not just for the millions who dies as a result but also for those living within the Empire. Why that path was chosen is the major question I have in my historical studies. The general outline is known but more facts need to be assembled to make it 100% credible.

Is there any doubt why the west loathes him?

And not just Putin but the whole team. One advantage Russia has over many nations is that Putin or Duma can promote a worthy regional governor to a higher position at the federal level and Putin then gets to pick the successor as he just did today with Ruslan Kukharuk offering him the position of Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug where he's lived most of his life and was twice elected mayor of its major city Tyumen, which Ruslan accepted. In total, there're 83 regions within Russia, over 60% more than the 50 US states, and that requires a very competent team over which Putin is the primary manager. Having the federal government split into two distinct parts--the Prime Minister heads the federal ministerial and legislative portion while the president manages the regions--when properly coordinated allows for a much better system of governance for such a geographically huge nation. Most people in the West don't understand how their own government works or how they need to control the managers they place into power; so, trying to understand Russia is overwhelming. And when the Other isn't well understood, it becomes much easier to demonize and make it an enemy, which is what's been done with Russia and China for over a century. One of the points of the Gym is to help people understand those others and bust the Establishment Narrative that paints those nations as enemies when they aren't.

Karl, I gave a link to this post in a comment on S's post of today, where he reproduces some of what VVP was saying at this meeting, added a link to the May 7 Decree

The scope and importance of this decree is still not appreciated
