For a man deeply embarrassed by the Ukrainian incursion into Kursk, Putin is remarkably relaxed. :-)

Machine translations are not yet flawless, here is a funny one:

Since 2020, the company has been specializing in and in the cultivation of blueberries, and also produces natural fruit pastila [pastilles/lozenges] without Sahara.

С 2020 года предприятие специализируется и на выращивании голубики, а также выпускает натуральную фруктовую пастилу без сахара.

without Sahara = without sugar

All Cyrillic Х are nowadays transcribed by H and not by KH, and then Sugar becomes Sahara.

Yeah, I missed that one. RT has good coverage of the Beslan visit, https://www.rt.com/russia/602847-putin-commemorates-beslan-school-siege/

Thank you Mr. Sanchez. Excellent recap of some busy travels. Busy day for you as well keeping up! The school was remarkable. Haunting, the whole area was reminiscent of a Proper People video. Mr. Putin's words were fitting and well prepared, "seem to have a head and hands" кажется, seem to, I think he'd mention their six fingered hands and 6 toed feet if he had longer. And they've known about it for decades or centuries? That's a telling statement, and he capped it off with what "seem to" be them finally accepting the evil they're facing. I haven't learned anything about the 4-5th or any other time yet, I didn't look for lunar phases either so you're ahead of me there. The longer the wait the more I'm reading of others now speculating unison amongst the coming response(es). Best wishes and prayers for peace. Your work is much appreciated.

I'd have provided more pictures of school #1 and more from the Angels Memorial Cemetary, which is where the name for the Donbass's Angel's Alley came from.

What's especially interesting to me is the gradual slide of war. From Valdai 2021:

http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/66975

"Listen, I would like to point out once again that they have a right to do this, we are keeping out of this. But we would like to ask them to keep out of our business as well.... Calling a spade a spade, this verges on a crime against humanity, and it is being done in the name and under the banner of progress. Well, if someone likes this, let them do it..."

To now, saying that Beslan was the West's op, that these people look like humans but they aren't quite, that they have no morality or ethics, and that it's impossible to get used to this.

War takes on a life of its own. Clown World clearly has no reverse gear. And what begins as an unthinkable red line usually becomes "of course" before the end. Russia is sliding from "negotiate a limited separation in defined areas" to "Ukraine shouldn't exist." Attitudes toward the West are sliding as well. Understandably.

As Russia takes in Western refugees per your subsequent article, the feeling in Russia that leaving the West in isolation may not be enough will get a substantial boost from the "New Russians." Possibly to Russia's advantage, if it can tap their networks etc. Possibly to its detriment; the ability of exiles to skew policy to their host's disadvantage is on display with the US Necocons fully 3+ generations later.

While help from abroad will be sorely needed by Clown World's tormented captives, Russia must take care that its own interests are always protected first.

GDP is not a good reason to strengthen voices of bad strategy, or to blindly adopt those who will always still carry some aspects of a problem culture with them. Californication and Massholes are a thing - if nothing else, a salutary examination of immigration patterns and results among Americans within the USA's own borders would be well advised. A program to firmly "Russianize" the new arrivals is going to be necessary; and if the Russian Orthodox Church's experiences in America are any guide, it must force the new arrivals to confront some deeply-held beliefs. Many a US state certainly wishes it had done that with California "refugees."

As this immigration happens, I pray that Russia can learn from our mistakes, and do better.

Your observations are well warranted. In the conversation at the ASI Forum last February, the discussion included the concerns you voice and is well worth reading to understand how Putin sees the issue. Indeed, the entire issue of immigration into Russia that includes guest workers is a political problem that's been simmering for perhaps a decade. I have a report in one of my archives about a series of speeches from Patriarch Kirill and others on the issue.

It's very unfortunate the Ottomans lost Palestine after WW1, as all Palestinian religious sects lived in harmony under Ottoman rule.

Surely Co operation like these leaders of their countries is always a much more benefit to the countries involved. Sadly the US lead ways of diplomacy is do it our way or we'll cause as much pain for your country as possible. Take Blinken & Biden as an example. Can anyone give any positive diplomatic achievements they've made in the past 4 years? I've seen their policies cause massive amounts of death & destruction as always seems the case where the US is involved. Surely the American citizens realise something has to change. Or they'll keep sinking further into the abyss. No morals, massive inequality, crime, poverty, corruption & lies. Everything coming out of the US today is false. It's a fake country, saying fake things said by fake politicians . America is better than that, it used to be a country to look up to, sadly that's not the case anymore.

Your observation is quite correct. However, you need to look at the last 20+ years of policy to see that's its continuous--no matter the party in power, the same domestic and foreign policies are followed in what's known as policy continuity. The problem/challenge for me as historian is to answer the question: How did this occur? I know the general outline but lack key specific smoking gun facts at key junctures such as with the transition of policy during WW2 to essentially adopting Hitler's goal of world domination, which is now publicly stated policy--Full Spectrum Domination: The Wolfowitz Doctrine on steroids.

As Putin said yesterday, those running the Outlaw US Empire have no morals, only interests. They are the modern equivalent of the Marquis de Sade, whose philosophy was Libertinism. Thus, today's Neocons and Neoliberals are Libertines at base.

Could “… have no morals or morals” have arisen because Putin used synonyms, alternative words, which have been autotranslated back to the same word in English?

Putin seems indefatigable. The theme running through his discourses about governance is that its purpose is to ensure the welfare of all its people so they all live well. The same for Xi. The AngloAmerican West’s ideology is systematic social inequality impoverishing the many deprived, rewarding the privileged few in rulership. That’s their morality or morals.

Yeah, I puzzled over that bit of text but left it as is. It could also be a direct copy of what he actually said since we often make miny miscues without knowing.

Yes, as you said, BRICS/SCO is promoting a moral political-economy that's antithetical to that of the West. That's one of the main points I try to convey here at the Gym. Today shows another small part of that with Putin's visit to the Leonid Roshal Children's Clinical Center, the following is the Kremlin's description:

"The Roshal Center Children's Clinic is a flagship project in the field of healthcare in the Moscow Region. The clinic will become the coordinator of all children's institutions in the Moscow region.

"Construction began in 2021. The center includes 16 inpatient departments with 461 beds, 23 operating rooms, four intensive care units with 48 beds, including an intensive care unit department for newborns. There is a helipad on the roof of the building for air ambulance.

"The center will work more than 1.6 thousand specialists in 28 medical profiles. Every year here will be able to About 15 thousand children will receive inpatient treatment, another 150 thousand patients a year will be able to undergo examination, receive advice.

"For the center purchased 9.5 thousand units of modern operating, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation equipment, including domestic production.

"The clinic will open the only children's department of maxillofacial surgery in the Moscow region, the first center for intravascular pediatric surgery in the Moscow region, as well as a center for critical conditions, the functioning of which will allow you to control and effectively route patients with serious conditions."

The photos at the link have a model of the center, which is very impressive, http://kremlin.ru/events/president/news/74912

When the building of modern healthcare facilities is discussed, a coordinated completeness is what Russia's aiming for across its very broad country, with facilities like this in the Far East and just beyond the Urals. Meanwhile, here within the Empire, our system of delivering healthcare is 100% dysfunctional and is falling apart in the pursuit of profit, not patient wellbeing.

I find it interesting that VVP visited Beslan at this time, when US Mercenaries and CNN are attacking Russia in the Kursk Oblast in what he termed a "terrorist" operation - an initiative that clearly is NATO planned and operated and VVP characterised as such. Whatever PR victory the West claims as a result of the Kursk attack, it looks to me like it will have much more impact on Russia and not to the benefit of Ukraine and NATO.

It's hard to say if the homage to Beslan was long on the agenda or not since it will soon be the 20th anniversary of the tragedy and Putin may well be scheduled to be elsewhere. RT's coverage of Putin's visit includes video and some still photos not provided by the Kremlin and are worth the several minutes to view. I'm sure Putin's soul is weighted heavily by Beslan since it's very likely he gave the order to storm the school. https://www.rt.com/russia/602847-putin-commemorates-beslan-school-siege/
