When it comes to morality, science/Nature is neutral; its works are there to be discovered, and it’s up to Humanity to use what’s discovered for ill or good.
what i meant was that his science is not being very scientific there. i suspect another area in which he's (temporarily, I trust) blind. As he was apparently, to the chance of Ukraine rising to accept the Russians, as he was to the state of his military, for instance.
