SF killafornia has become a place where one would not want to be poor, sadly, like I am...

But the rich folks here hav paid to chase the homeless over to brOakland where they still tear down encampments, but not all of them, as many are plainly visible....

I much prefer the vibe in Oakland, of course, Anymore, where the Hello s are more frequent and expected.

Yesterday a woman walking by said hello to me in SF, it was remarkable for the rarity of such decent kindness, mostly unheard of hear if you look like you are poor. Like me.

I always remember how beautiful Moscow was. Where I was born.

Ah. If I could snap my fingers and return....

Dasvidanya...

The only thing SF has going for it now is the SF bay, aquatic Park, for swimmers....but the shower on the beach has been down for a year.

Where can people swim in open water in Russia? In Moscow?

Send me there now

Dystopian Nu Yawk, what a toilet bowl with the chances of catching some virus at JFK airport arrival where you're unnecessarily held for 2/3 hours x-raying eyes even with only a quarter of the booths operating and all this after forking out for business or 1st class.

I can remember visiting Niger a decade ago and the First Lady gave instruction to demolish all the camps/street businesses leading into the Capital Niamey as it was her turn to host all the First Ladies of the African Union. Talk about keeping up appearances in the midst of squaller. For a weekend maybe 100,000 were displaced but back up and thriving by Tuesday morning.

I believe the Nu Yawk Mayor did something similar before Xi's cavalcade arrived for a UN meeting a year or two back, clearing several blocks of fentanyl zombies and displaced gentlefolk.
