Astonishig, Russia taking full advantage of their wealth of resources in an environmentally efficient and responsible way. Their initiatives and balanced approach utilizing leading technologies in fossil nuclear and renewable energy displays Russia as perhaps the most energy secure anywhere on the planet.

Yes, and Russia's exporting their best practices. Resource-wise, Venezuela has more but it's dangerously close to the Outlaw US Empire.

Particularly now with Narco Rubio as secretary. I won't be surprised we see Venezuela 2.0 with trumps current line up.

Sorry for my amateurish comment. Maybe someone can explain something.

I look at Russia on the world map. This huge country, with sometimes extreme geographical and climatic conditions. Where are the raw materials located, where are the plants for further processing/refining and where is the final production of a wide variety of products and goods? Where are the buyers of these end products? Many thousands of kilometers of roads, bridges, tunnels and railroads have to be maintained and newly built. Where people work, they often live there too. Energy supply, medical care, social facilities, housing, kindergartens, schools, water treatment and water supply, telecommunications companies, IT companies, supermarkets, numerous service providers, etc. are needed there. If Russia now develops and produces many products/goods itself, completely new production facilities will be needed. These will need suppliers. An endless list of difficulties to be solved. In addition, how many additional well-trained specialists will be needed in numerous professions. Including teachers, trainers, doctors, nurses and and and .... .

Wow. I'm getting dizzy.

I wish Putin a long life in good health. I remember a short interview with a Russian journalist in the mountains of Sochi. That was in 2014, shortly after the Maidan. There, Putin said that the above is exactly what he sees as his task as president. He spoke with regret that he cannot invest all his strength and energy in this task due to Western aggression and that Russia has to invest too much money and resources in the military.

What do you think?

Putin's secret is it's not just Putin. He's forged a team of very likeminded people who are the best sort of patriots--People Patriots. And The People are embodied by the Father-Motherland and/or Nation--Rodina. And any others so likeminded are welcome to join. The name United Russia is compelling and is mostly composed of ordinary people patriots. And the odd fact is that what stands as the main political opposition parties are also mostly composed of ordinary people patriots. There's great temptation to calling political Russia one large family having differing perspectives on attaining the overall goal of family success. That political atmosphere is decidedly different from Russia's Western opponents, and it's been formed over centuries. Imagine where Russia would be if it hadn't been decimated by four major events during the 20th Century that cost 80-100 million deaths and many millions more who were never born. Russia should have a population similar to that of the Outlaw US Empire--closing in on 340 million. Nevertheless, Russians aren't allowing anything to get in the way of their destiny to make Russia excel AND to help others excel.

Russia proves it can do it daily and that it wants to do it daily--excel. It's a socio-cultural asset. It's a place where all are Tovarish until proven otherwise.

After a few years teaching in a university, I joined an R&D department in Bell Labs. Back in the day, Western Electric did manufacturing and equipment was used and maintained by the Bell telephone networks. It was a giant learning environment which was productive for over 100 years. The hero was the committed installer who endured through bad weather to ensure the phone system continued to work. It was a state sponsored monopoly.

For Russia, the war in Ukraine has engendered learning: battle field, organizations, technology, national pride, and more, and all the while in competing against the empire. Furthermore they seem to be delicately managing global system dynamics in the transition to a multipolar world. Along with their institutions and culture, the war has added a huge pool of home grown talent which they are coupling with their resources and they can play the long game.

Putin and team have devised several specialized programs where SMO veterans get the opportunity to learn good governance and enter government service at a new level. That creation of a new cadre of people dedicated to the public good having served and survived war bodes very well for Russia's future--a vital asset is being created that didn't exist before.

It is unrelated but I would like to know if it is confirmed in western media that British airforce pilots on Typhoon aircraft attack Russian territory with storm shadow. There is a video of explosions and there is a video of the prime minister trying to keep secrets, almost lying unsuccessfully, from a journalist asking these questions.

Are any readers with some information we do not see yet?

Storm shadow missiles are usually launched from Mig-29s. I've never seen any confirmation of other NATO aircraft inside Ukraine other than F-16s.

The main Q being asked is why with most A being an attempt to make Trump's term more complicated. I've already suggested a send-a-message retaliation strike, but it appears Russia's General Staff wants to employ Russia's missiles against Ukraine, with those strikes being far more effective than Ukraine's. IMO, the new doctrine will be invoked only if strikes are aimed deeply into Russia as so far what's being done doesn't differ from before.

One thing is clear; Biden isn't in charge of anything.

They only had 14 Su24, they were converted for storm shadow. In May 2024 they are confirmed 14 destroyed. A British air force pilot now retired claim that only Typhoon can now deliver this weapon. Well we do not know.

The amendment to doctrine of use and deterrence is nothing for worrying about. Use of nuclear weapons is not necessary, there are conventional weapons that can defeat entire countries like Britain. Assymetric measures will be implemented and they are more effective anyway. Possibly assisting Ansar Allah with intelligence necessary to destroy a British navy ship.

Biden should be in the nursing center, and the blinken and Sullivan team should be prosecuted for abusing elderly people.

Well, some jet(s) allowed them to be launched. IMO, we'll see another or several NATO operations bases within Ukraine eliminated. That's been the usual payback option employed.

Yes, and this escalation is nothing new, they are used for a long time. It appears to be for creating some type of hysteria again.

Well in some better news, they did finally want to make arrest of Israel leaders. Although the inclusion of deceased Hamas commanders seems a ridiculous appeasement. After all they exercised their right according to international law.
