I was interested to see their development in the field of hydrogen. I know Japan is working on this as well. Kawasaki has currently a motorcycle that uses a hydrogen cylinder of sorts. Thanks for this breakdown.
Russia's developing all possible fuel feed-stocks, which makes perfect sense. Fuel cell powered busses are very good way to employ that technology and fuel. Private cars on the other hand would require duplicating the refueling network, although fleet applications might be considered since refueling points would be at where the fleet's based. I was once invested in fuel cell technology and thus know quite a lot about it.
is the issue of climate change related to all this? at what point do these industries - coal especially - impact on the environment in a way where russia expresses any concern globally? thanks for the article karl..
Yes. There's an article in the queue discussing that issue. I watched several videos related to Russia's Arctic development made by Western media where they condemn Russia's development on climate change grounds. But as usual when you dig deeper into that void, you find the actual motivation for those howls has to do with Global Majority development displacing Western dominance that's fueled to a considerable extent by Russian resources and technology builds, like Rosatom's Egyptian reactor plants, and elsewhere. The "portable" nuclear generators are unique to Russia and will do a lot to keep the Arctic white. The scale of the infrastructure building is massive and will continue for at least 20 more years.
GAZPROM and LUKOIL have been major investments for me, all lost due to Janet Yellen and Biden's sanctions. Excellent at dividends and capital gains. Sickening.

In that regard, they're thieves. I'd buy bonds related to Russia's energy complex if I could. Maybe via China?
