Decapitation, that is taking out a head of state, is well within the empire’s amorality.

"Western media are already eulogizing Muhammad Yunus, the banker who will lead the Bangladeshi interim government. They gloss over all the scandals that led to his downfall because he is a trusted Western tool.

For decades Microcredit has been hailed as the #1 solution to eradicate poverty. In December 2007, the Danish independent journalist and film maker, Tom Heinemann met with a woman by the name of Jahanara – living in a slum-like house two hours drive outside the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka. Shortly before the meeting she had sold her house to pay her weekly instalments. For months, she had been intimidated, harassed and abused by members of her loan group and by loan sharks from the various Micro Finance Institutions (MFI) – including Grameen Bank – that had given her the loans. Two years later the film crew went back to investigate if Jahanara had succeeded in getting out of poverty. She hadn’t. “The Micro Debt” also takes a closer look at the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, Grameen Bank and Mr. Muhammad Yunus. The film reveals a number of secret documents proving how Mr. Yunus back in the mid-90’s transferred USD 100 million – most of it donated as grants by Norway, Sweden, Germany, USA and Canada – to a new company in the Grameen-family in order to avoid tax.

The film crew travelled several times to Bangladesh, and visited some of the most hailed villages in the history of the Nobel laureate Grameen Bank.

In Jobra we met the daughter of the famous loan taker, Sufiya Begun and in “Hillary Village”, where the former US first lady, Hillary Clinton in 1995 came and cheered both Mohammad Yunus and Grameen Bank, the crew meets poor people who gained nothing else but more debt due to microcredit.

Almost each and every loan taker interviewed told the same story. All had taken out multiple loans and all had a hard time trying to pay back their debt. Some had sold their house, others had their tin-sheets pulled off their houses to cover the weekly payments.

“The Micro Debt” was first aired in a special Norwegian version on November 30. 2010 on NRK1 and caught the attention of the world media. In May 2011, Muhammad Yunus was sacked from Grameen Bank. Officially due to age, but according to Mr. Yunus it was this film that led to his downfall.

Thanks uncle! My first impression of Microcredit was it being a scam no matter how well spun--another veiled IMF/World Bank ploy, but I didn't follow it at all. When I heard this Bangladeshi banker was to become interim leader, I was very suspicious. Rosatom has a huge project there. A closer eye will be shed.

And totally off topic but not off continent, the big news from China is https://t.me/NewEasternOutlook/4228

"China's Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center launched 18 Qianfan Xingzuo satellites of the G60 low-Earth orbit constellation on August 6 aboard a Long March-6A rocket.

🌐📶The launch is a major step toward Beijing's strategic goal of building its own version of Starlink, a growing commercial broadband network of about 5,500 satellites in space.

🚫China's Thousand Sails Constellation plan, also known as the G60 Starlink Plan, which kicked off in 2023, plans to launch a total of 15,000 satellites into low Earth orbit."

Now THAT is a about time too. You know you are in the right place when the brics start talking to each other.

Well no one in Russia is DIRECTLY contradicting any of the theses as to who said what to whom. The Russian side are clearly performing figure skating on their home made solid ice. We can all readily see the tracks and yet only anticipate the evolution of their performance. It is good to hear that Austin was addressed directly by the Russian Minister in control of all forms of hard retaliation. So it goes.

I assume Pepe and RT was on the money or close enough to convey the report with some accuracy. Obfuscating such an event is what the MFA excels at ;))

It's odd that RT IMO was innocent of Martyanov's accusations as he's made his hatred of RT head Simonyan very clear as the article I cite and he refused to link says nothing about assassination; so, my conclusion is other parts of Russian media made the claim. He's quickly moved on from that by making four new postings already today.

I can clearly see the misinterpretation of Rybakov's words now, though I can understand how it happened. In any case, it's really madness if they were plotting something like Trump's assassination attempt against Putin! They could have brought the world to the brink of World War 3 and Nuclear Armageddon!

On a side note, at the end you mention that "the Crocus Hall attack’s been linked to the UK", however I do not remember reading anything recently on this topic. Have I missed something? Could you please provide a link to some further reading on it?

Marat Khairullen reported it on his Telegram and also posted the article to his VK, the first two paragraphs:

"Official Kiev is increasingly publicly associating itself with international terrorism. An extreme case is when the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) officially indicated its involvement in the attack on a convoy of Russian volunteers and the Malian military in North Africa. It is clear that these statements are not made from a great mind, and, in fact, directly betray the Ukrainian masters. In this case, this remark is an occasion to once again talk about the Ukrainian roots of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. We ended the previous article with the fact that the organization that claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Crocus is allegedly the Afghan Vilayat Khorasan (why allegedly, I will explain later) immediately leads us to the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan. This is Britain's direct proxy in Central Asia headquartered in London, which in recent years has served as a recruiter of Tajiks for ISIS * Khorasan to counter the Taliban in Afghanistan.

"Russian experts will clearly say that since this Vilayat Khorasan took responsibility for the terrorist attack in Crocus, it means that London has signed boldly for this monstrous crime. And the Ukrainian accent was dominant here: pay attention to how confidently Nikolai Patrushev in the first days declared the responsibility of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. Why? Let's talk about this. The root organization for the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan, and Khorasan's ISIS, is the Hizb ut-Tahrir sect (hereinafter recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) - or the organization of the Revival of Islam. It was founded in the distant 50s of the last century in the Middle East personally by the post-war director of MI6 Stuart Menzies (there is such a legend). The formal founder of HT – Taqiuddin Nabhani (Islamic theologian) was an MI6 agent with resident rights, as were the subsequent leaders – Abdulkadim Zallum and Ata Abu al-Rashta."

Odd that with all his contacts that he doesn't report more about the Kursk assault, at least at his VK. The following on his Telegram for today is the only hint he makes toward Kursk:

"And yesterday the half-witted Budanov* gave us such an excuse.

And here we need to discuss not how the Ukies will continue to attack (do not forget, the reserves are at the GUR), but how our command uses this move of the ukrops.

Let me remind you that Vladimir Vladimirovich is considered a master of psychological judo - he always waits for the first move from the opponent, and then catches him on the opposite move. A meeting of the Security Council is scheduled for tomorrow - we will follow the game of the masters." https://t.me/s/voenkorkhayrullin/2390

God help us. ... I no longer have the slightest hope of a peaceful solution. There are influential groups within the US system that are under no control. I also have a feeling that Russia will soon have its "back to the wall" to such an extent that it will have no choice but to escalate itself.

I have confidence that the rock solid persistence of Russia will ultimately succeed while the frantic performances of Ukraine and its herd of cats in the West just dart about from one pile of wreckage to another. There is really only one peaceful solution for The Ukraine region of Russia, and that is to capitulate, denazify and demilitarise asap. It will likely necessitate a resettlement procedure in the minds of the deep fascist ideologues but the chances for a reasonable and durable peace are well within the grasp of most residents in The Ukrainian region. I see they are getting more assertive with each passing night ;)

Some thoughts from afar as to how the thought waves and air waves are managed through drawn out silences and anticipated realities:

https://alonmizrahi.substack.com/p/two-quick-observations

IMO the outline espoused by Mizrahi above could well be applied to how Russia has temperately managed The Ukraine wannabes and media moment scammers that constitute the pretence of expired Ukrainian political leaders. The spaces that silences and gradualism generate can be filled with thoughtful design and work to effect desired outcomes. Meanwhile the Western frenetic f**kwits prattle on.
