I was very shocked and highly disappointed that Oregon’s most prestigious medical institution, Oregon Health & Science University, that attracts talent globally and enforces a very strict non-discrimination policy had an internet server for its institution that blocked all Russian and Chinese internet sites—government and public. I saw more and more censorship of off duty government employees involved in social networks prior to my retirement some years ago. At that time much of it had to do with what the department considered hate speech followed by disciplinary action of those employees . I often wondered then that one day government censorship of free speech could encompass any private speech from anyone on social networks, it appears my hunch then was correct.
What's nuts about OHSU is it touts its very, very strict anti-discrimination policy that relates to it's attracting students from worldwide yet employs an internet service that does the opposite of its stated policies. And of course, the penultimate hypocrisy of going directly against the #1 stated goal of WW2--to restore Freedom of Speech. Note that RFKjr is using that very meme, which gets confirmed every time he's misquoted, smeared or simply ignored.
thanks karl.. well said.. i think the monster that has to be slayed are the intel agencies.. unfortunately most people don't even see this, they are so busy being brainwashed and exposed to the lies and omissions that the intel agencies are especially focused on maintaining... i hope more people wake up to this, but i am doubtful..
