The information overload generated during the past week was intense, that is if you weren’t captured by the antics of Western media and the governments they propagandize for. It wasn’t just the Russia-Africa Summit, although those two days packed in four days worth of activities. The information tsunami actually began on the 19th with the publication five Dr. Hudson events, the podcast titile being “Is the US a Failed State,” which was changed to “Can the US Re-Industrialize?” for his website. That was quickly followed with an essay first published at Naked Capitalism, “The Looming War Against China,” which appeared at Hudson’s website on the 22nd. Then Hudson provided a 25 minute video lecture to China’s The Global University of Sustainability entitled “Is financial capitalism, ruled by the landlord class and banking class, the road to debt serfdom?” Meanwhile, Dr. Hudson wasn’t the only one busy providing contextual background for the upcoming Summit. Pepe Escobar’s article on the 24th at The Cradle, “BRICS problems, BRI solutions,” informed us that despite the Outlaw US Empire’s big problems in Ukraine that it’s still capable of meddling and working on weak points. That was followed at Strategic-Culture the day prior to the Summit’s start with “The Russia-Global South Connection: Africa as Strategic Partner;” and while Western media were trying to convince people that few Africans were coming, Pepe told us, “The summit welcomes no less than 49 African delegations. President Putin previously announced that a comprehensive declaration and a Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Action Plan all the way to 2026 will be adopted.” Lavrov later met with the Foreign Ministers of 31 African nations. On the 27th, Hudson posted the transcript with links to the video of what he described as the longest interview he’d ever given—2.5 hours—that he called “Global Economic History in 2.5 Hours.” Then on the 28th, Escobar joined with Hudson and Radhika Desai for the next installment of the Geopolitical Economy Report, “NATO Moves to Bait China.” And after the Summit with all its numerous declarations and working sessions that has yet to be documented completely, the long week closed with two analytical articles by Escobar, in Sputnik International on the 29th, “Geopolitical Chessboard Shifts Against US Empire” and then on the 30th at Strategic-Culture, “First We Go for Moscow, Then We Take Beijing,” which makes for a very intense collection.
Some might wonder, is just two sources getting close to being group think? Perhaps, but the accumulated wisdom between those two amounts to over 100 years and credibility issues are extremely rare as in almost never. So then, what was the point of all the activity besides to inform those wanting to become informed? The issue now at hand is to strengthen the foundation of the emerging Multipolar World as what’s been revealed are weak points within the current structure as the Outlaw US Empire isn’t going to cede its level of hegemony without confrontations and struggles. Some of these weak points have recently become more visible—Brazil, South Africa, and India within BRICS and India within the SCO. Fortunately, there are many other players who are members of other teams and very much want to be included in both BRICS and SCO, the two most prominent being Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. And then there’re interactions between organizations: EAEU and ASEAN being rather major as a free trade agreement is soon to become reality. And then there’re demands for outcomes being voiced by the vast majority of the Global South as witnessed during the Summit—A just, outside of Western interference, international financial order is at the top of the list. The greater connectivity beginning with the use of national currencies and their national banks to conduct trade is the current mantra. Yes, it’s initially more difficult than using the existing dollar system, but if you don’t do the work, you won’t get the desired result. And you’d be correct to call it group think.
Africa’s calling out the mantra; ASEAN is calling back; SCO and BRICS began the chant and continue to keep the beat going. Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and others in that region are also singing the chant. In Southwest Asia, almost all the Persian Gulf nations are in on the chant. Get all that connectivity happening then digital networks will be added to the mix as a modernization element. What all this will allow all those nations to do is to tell the Outlaw US Empire and its vassals that are addicted to laying down illegal sanctions and attempting to enforce territoriality with regard to their laws to shove-off and ignore those attempts—Just Say No! And with the financial system’s choke points circumvented by all that connectivity, there’ll be no way for the illegal crap to be enforced anymore, which means two of the Four Freedoms looming into sight as a reality soon to be realized—Freedom from Want and Freedom from Fear. Cause that’s what the overall goal of all this is—To finally establish the Four Freedoms as reality for humanity. The other two being Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Worship. In other words, this is all about decolonizing most of humanity, while the last remaining colonial power goes about colonizing its vassals.
And connectivity doesn’t need to be limited the Multipolar World. Connectivity between people lining within the Empire and its vassals is just as important as the need to raise solidarity so the Oligarchy can be fought must also occur. It’s great to watch the RoW get its act together, but what about those of us not in that Bloc? We want to get into that Bloc, Yes? Well, to do that we need to talk to each other regardless of our initial hesitancies. This ought to be easy in church or other organizations like PTA, town halls and other neutral venues. As someone recently reminded, most of us are all workers depending on a paycheck, while those of us retired folk also depend on similar support. We’re all affected by the Oligarchy increasing the cost of living while denying it’s increasing at the rate we know it is—the 2024 Social Security COLA being a mere 3% is one example. We all have concerns about the ability of our children and their children to live lives without becoming debt slaves, particularly on medical issues. Those encompass a plethora of potential talking points that can bring people together, get them chanting the same mantra, like the one from Network: “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it any longer,” and generating the effort required to attain a Critical Mass within the polity. Internationally, the team’s being organized and it’s going to be large because that’s what’s required. The same applies within our own locales—the team' needs to be as large as possible, and that Bloc will soon learn it has power and how to employ it. There were two times in US History where the common people decided to connect together and became formidable forces. One was before the age of telephones and automobiles, while the second was before the age of TV. That they didn’t quite finish the job is why we’re faced with our current situation.
I recall something Jim Hightower used to say: “Become an agitator; the agitator is what gets the dirt out.” And to be an agitator is to ask questions and initiate conversations with our fellows as I outlined above. That’s what it means to be a citizen, and it’s something Oligarchs don’t want to see.
