For those of us on the outside looking in as objectively as possible, it’s clear Trump had a plan in anticipation of the push-back he’d get from the Deep State losers when it came to his choices for his administrative positions.
The United States Leaders are obvious ACCOMPLICES of the Genocide:
If the ICC is Morally and Juridically COHERENT, it MUST also indict and seek the arrest of Joe Biden, Anthony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lloyd Austin, Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Graham and others as full, NECESSARY, willing, knowledegeable, lasting, open, cynical ACCOMPLICES of the SAME CRIMES as Netanyahu and Gallant, by providing them tens of billions of dollars, lethal weapons, ammunition, intelligence, logistical and political support at the United Nations, as corroborated Nov 21st by vetoeing the desperately needed, humanitarian call for a Ceasefire at the UNSC.
"The Ukraine war is motoring steadily towards some form of dénoument. "
Maybe not. We could be heading even more directly to WWIII. I posted this as a Note to my Substack as well as on Antiwar, Martyanov's blog and Sonar21:
Here's the new problem: It's not just ATACMS any more.
I believe the US is considering using the Aegis Ashore installations in Poland and Romania to hit inside Russia using Tomahawk cruise missiles.
This ties together Zelensky's request for Tomahawks, as well as Ukraine's request for more "advanced air defenses" - specifically the THAAD and the Aegis Ashore systems - as well as US discussions about "giving Ukraine nuclear weapons", as reported by the New York Times earlier.
All three requests can be satisfied by arranging for the Aegis Ashore installations in Poland and Romania to be used in support of Ukraine.
Think about it: What difference is it from using US supplied and US operated ATACMS to using US supplied and US operated Aegis Ashore?
This is how the idiots in Washington think. They don't comprehend that Russia already views the Aegis Ashore as a major strategic threat to Russia, both for its ability to intercept Russian ICBMs in the context of a Russian retaliatory strike in a nuclear war, and its ability to participate in a decapitation strike by the US against Russia as part of the initiation of such a war.
Never mind that Tomahawks are old and slow, easily intercepted by Russia's advanced AD systems, and subject to Russian ECM as they were in Syria during Trump's ill-advised attacks on Syria facilities.
This is not Syria. Russia will have to treat any Tomahawk launched from Poland or Romania as a nuclear strike.
This is why Russia recently designated those installations as priority targets. They always were priority targets.
This is also why Russia demonstrated its new Oreshnik ("Hazel") missile. It is precisely that missile which can destroy those installations.
And it is likely Russia issued that warning precisely because they know that Washington is considering using those installations in support of Ukraine.
This would be a direct initiation of WWIII - not just over a few ATACMS.
What gives you to believe that the US or any part of is 'considering' the use of Aegis, other than of course that their existence render consideration possible
Or that other parts of the US policy cabals will agree that WWIII is a convenient solution
When it would appear to eliminate any plans for China containment iran Gaza etc, not to say life on earth
I'm saying it's quite possible given 1) the trajectory of escalation the US has pursued, 2) that fact the US doesn't have anything left short of direct nuclear war, 3) the fact that all three of Ukraine's most recent requests would be solved by their use, 4) the New York Times report that nukes are being considered, and 5) that Russia has warned that those installations are now a priority target.
This isn't proof, of course. But it is highly suggestive and a definite possibility. I remind you that so far there is zero evidence that the neocons are prepared to stop at any given point, given the fact that, as Martyanov says, all these idiots don't comprehend what Russia is capable of. Maybe you do, but they don't.
You make an argument from ‘stupidity’, that relies on the ‘stupidity’ of one of the factions of the US governing class
Arguments from stupidity are themselves fatally foolish, it is impossible to predict how a stupid person or group will act, unless one is part of it, by which and by definition success will be denied
It is merely lazy to call someone stupid – it is to refuse rationally to analyse
As opposed to arguments from another’s self interest, especially intelligent self interest –
i.e. The dominant capitalist class has as unique aim to make maximum money, this it has achieved, therefore it will …..
Not all factions of the US ruling class are ‘stupid’, or apparently irrational in the same way, and certainly not foolish enough to let the neo cons kill them one and all
Please never argue from the imperative of demands issued by the Ukraine régime as being relevant to anything but their own fantasy goals, which are irrelevant to the war aims of all other participants
Please never make an argument from something the NYT reports -it is certainly an attempt to deceive
What US escalation? All attempts by the US in Ukraine have or are in the process of being defeated - to replace one failed initiative with another failure is not escalation
One can argue from US incompetence that the US has no options left – one can not argue that because they can do and have done nothing that has worked, that they can still do one thing that will
Escalation is the recent RF missile - whatever further escalation the RF decides upon, if they do, will also take by surprise and remain unanswerable
You really underestimate the stupidity of the US government, don't you?
Go ask Andrei Martyanov about that. And read the comments from several government officials in the last couple days about how the Oreshnik missile is "old technology", "not important", etc.
I'm not saying the US WILL use the Aegis systems. I'm saying it fits the pattern of escalation where everything they said they wouldn't do eventually is done.
I'll also add that hopium is not a plan and not a valid argument, either.
Who cares what Hack believes. He is a fantasist and a blowhard, a convicted felon. He also believes the lie that clot shots are safe and effective. That right there gives an insight in to his lack of analytical skills. He'll soon be dead from his "beautiful" "vaccines".
Many regular readers here at the ‘Gym’ DO care what RSH believes - your ad hominem ‘contribution’ is a lame attempt to start a MoA- style barroom brawl. This is not a bar - take it outside please and don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Sheesh.
No one gives a shit about his ramblings. Except his fellow criminals and fanbois such as you. He is a two time loser bank robbing criminal, and a vaxtard masquerading as an analyst, but he just steals content (plagiarises) from actual analysts ans passes it off as his own. Stealing is his only skill.
Now run along with him and get your your 15th 'booster'.
I've asked Karl to ban this scumbag before, but apparently he doesn't care - like Bernhard at MoA didn't, but did care enough to ban me. This has always been my experience at several forums - let the trolls bait me, then ban me. It's a real pattern.
I don’t recall Crooke or Sachs being quite this explicit about who runs the USA before. They’ve answered in advance the question that naturally arose after the missile launches into Russia: “we know it’s not Biden running the country, who is it?”
There are those who hope that Trump can deliver on either or both the domestic and international front. In my view, they will get neither. After all, both situations are controlled by the Zionists, a process developed favorably since the odious Scoop Jackson who is so rarely mentioned today.
There is truly nothing new under the sun, but we were blinded/dazzled by illusions.
Sen Jackson became exposed late in his career for the undue interest he took in his male interns, perhaps explaining his serfdom to the Zionists. As with Lindsay Graham today, the technique of sexual blackmail was SOP appears to have deep roots.
It would be fascinating and original to read the research on this beyond the well-known Philby spy ring case in WWII. With the Trump nominees, it would be an intriguing exercise in “pattern recognition” (as AI used to be called), as several fairly obvious (and not-so-obvious) possibilities present themselves.
There has been suspicion that the Epstein “scandal” was merely the tip of the iceberg above water and that males were involved too. With the unfolding of the P Diddy case, there may be evidence.
This is not to deplore individual sexual proclivities, but to understand the tools and techniques of the Zionists.
Does Mata Hari ring a bell? In today's electronic surveillance age, if you're close to the center of any political power, you must act very strictly to the point of recording all your activities for your own protection as that's the only protection one has against sexual harassment allegations where it's he said/she said. I'm very happy to not have that problem.
I’m referring to illegal tapes used for blackmail involving gay relationships/sex…including consenting activities between men where there may or may not be coercion or other illegalities. So the blackmail rests on the assumption that the public would be find this homosexual behavior unacceptable on the face of it.
"Look back at the 2008-9 transition if you can to see the difference. And we now know why that happened—Obama promised the law-breaking bankers that not only they wouldn’t be prosecuted but they would be showered with hundreds of billions of dollars in the name of “injecting liquidity” into the system, not enforcing the laws as a president is supposed to do. That Obama was reelected in 2012 stunned me give his criminality."
Let us remember that Obama also had a mandate to investigate and prosecute Bush-era war crimes and illegal surveillance practices. Instead he doubled down, "looking forward (to more), not backwards."
On the matter of citizens taking back their power - The Australian Citizen's Party has launched its program for the coming federal election, 2025. Here's a link to the conference on how the party will represent citizens within the Parliament: https://youtu.be/hWRYIZrvPgE?si=cBEgOpo0oBSTM3SG
in some ways the fate of the world rests in the usa's hands.. in other ways it is slipping away from the usa quickly... whoever created the dr.jekyll and mr hyde dynamic in the usa, the fact is the usa domestic agenda is the polar opposite of its foreign policy agenda and the 2 do not connect... trump might have gotten elected on the domestic agenda, but he is going to have his hands full on the foreign policy front...
things are spiraling out of hand at present in the nato-russia conflict... by the time trump gets in power, things might have gone too far for any settlement to occur... more atacms today in kursk and waiting on baited breathe if they successfully his the kursk nuclear plant, or what russias response will be here... the warmongers are in the ascendancy... not sure how trump processes this all..
I've still been struggling to find the full November 18 Trump speech so often cited recently. The provenance is also eluding me - there's a repeating clip on YouTube which apparently was originally streamed live w/ commentary rolling on the right, but something about it just seems 'off'. And Trump is already filling up posts with neocons (Hegseth), Israel-firsters and Zionist supporters (also Hegseth).
Yes, this paragraph beginning “We need peace without delay …” isn’t Trump. It’s coherent, not vague rhetorical impressions. It employs terms alien to Trump’s discourse. “Western civilization today”, “dismantling the entire Globalist Neo-con establishment”. Trump is the subject of his sentences, not “The State Department, the Defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services and all of the rest”.
It was probably written for him by someone with a smattering of intelligence and ideological commitment. It’s implausible that he read it out himself. Where are the insults, the attributions of moral tabus, the self-glorifications?
He continually shifts his political intentions through 180 ̊ and back again at his whim, so if this is him, it soon won’t be.
Watching the recent (and not maybe so good) adapatation of Asimov's Foundation, I am reminded of Hari Seldon's prediction via Psychohistorical calculation that the Galactic Empire was doomed to fall, and in doing so would usher in an age of chaos and war. Well it seems to me that there are some parallels with the USA just now in that entrenched interests, often competing with each other, mean that the status quo keeps being maintained and the overall policy trajectory stays the same. We have the deep state, MSM, two parties, the Intelligence Services, Administrative State, Wall Street, Big oil, big pharma and academia - to name most - as all wanting things to continue as they are. This doesn't include a sizeable proportion of the population who are prepared to vote for this position - many of whom actually are living citizens...
In the sci-fi fable we see internal sclerosis combining with rebellion on the periphery to bring down an over-reaching monolithic Empire . Various counter-revolutions always fail because the centre always over-reacts with shows of power and creates enemies, and cannot allow successful champions to rise.- Again this seems to be playing out in front of our eyes
In the series "The Mule" upsets the historical trajectory - a single man with gift for mind control. I doubt Mr T is the Mule of our times. More likely a speed bump for the DC Empire interests. I'd like to think that some of his policies, picks and actions will fundamentally change things but am skeptical. Anyway I am watching events with interest. However as someone who lives not on Trantor, but somewhere else in the inner spiral arm, I regard recent events with some alarm. Nevertheless as the Galactic Empire fades, we can expect it to lash out in frustration - its power waning but still dangerous.
Agree with your synopsis. I read the Foundation series in the early 1970s when I was perhaps too young to appreciate the prognosis. I read them again along with the additional prequels and sequels during the mid-2000s and gained much more, then I read the Robot series, which was almost as informative. Brilliant man, Isaac Asimov.
Thank you Karl for this summary of Trump and what may lie ahead
And for adding in Alastair Crooke, always interesting - even more so would be his assessment of the impact both on RF, their Allies, and the US, on the use of their new missile
Domestic US politics is a jungle and a swamp and more or less unfathomable to outsiders
Your article is here described by a commenter as a rant - this may be part of US speak where anyone who expresses an opinion consisting of more than a slogan is accused of losing control
-a rant is - outside the US political/social scene - held to be the irrational ravings of a mad man
Which is the opposite of your analysis, and the thoughts of Crooke
PS Crooke is one of those brits who pepper his thoughts with words in french, which, to his generation of brits, conveyed subtleties of meanings, especially with regard to diplomacy, which the native tongue was thought not to offer, et puis tant mieux
Aah .......videos, thank you Karl - to carry on about the separation of US political and social discourse from that of the rest of the world, in particular Africa
I'd say that the video in inept as a form of expression of serious political social ideas
Perfect for rabble rousing, sentiment, and preaching
As an Objectivist, I view videos closely as there's usually some usable information amidst the rhetoric. Like any information source, there's no reason to leave your critical thinking cap off your head.
I find there's an internal with self dialogue possible when reading a serious argument, less so with video
And in any case to understand any serious idea it has to be read over at least a few times - has anyone the time to look through a video more than once?
The essence of an argument can be generally assessed as interesting or not by a quick skim read, is same possible with video
Socrates would say that the Sophists prefer videos so as to polish their empty rhetoric
I saw nothing objective in any of Ayn Rand's writings--fantasist is a more apt description. I work on facts and fact-based materials in a quest for the truth.
Good article. In addition to the unhinged nuclear brinkmanship of US imperialism under corpse Biden, the CIA Guardian is reporting that "ISIS" plans to disrupt Trump over the holidays. No doubt the interagency folks, as Crooke calls them are sharpening every last knife in the drawer just for Trump.
Incidentally, did you know there is an SEP banner at the header of this article?
Maybe there is an off ramp for the USA regarding Ukraine. Perhaps Trump and whoever finally becomes Defence Minister can double down on Biden's remarks to Starmer wherein Biden handed Starmer the bag of sh!t he had created. Consider Kit Klarenberg's latest report:
and think about what would a Trump do if he found it essential to get out from under a pile? Why just hand it to the FUKEU to manage and walk off whistling to armageddon in the promised land. That way he can absolutely ignore Russia's plea to pull back nato, absolutely evade any responsibility for that misguided European fantasy of empire etc., etc., I can almost hear Musk laughing his head off and the Generals popping the corks to celebrate. They are all vassals after all.
And Trump gets a win for all the punters at home who are fed up with fighting europe's wars. Yes, it is ugly to contemplate such cynicism but then sometimes you have to think like a Trump or a Biden or a Clinton or an Obummer to find the 'right solution' :(
I guess the idiot republicans in the senate and congress will need to have it spelled out to them in clear terms. Iran has no doubt improved its missile capability almost to the same extent as Russia. Consider that for a moment and then consider the stunning missile advances by the Houthis amply demonstrated over the past few years. And then, to top it off, these same senators and congresscritters might consider the following video at the Chinese Zhuhai Airshow 2024 :
ooops, that looks awful like friendship and macho sports games between Russia and China! Now what went wrong with that cold war divide and rule BS?
Imagine these neocon scumbags trying to sleep at night as the one belt one road to freedom continues to thread its way across the planet and all those UKUSA war machines rust or break shafts or bump into mountains... :))
As for the USA presidential changeover and Trumps statement:- “We need peace without delay … The foreign policy establishment keeps trying to pull the world into conflict. The greatest threat to Western civilization today is not Russia. It’s probably more than anything else ourselves… There must be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire Globalist Neo-con establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad while they turn us into a Third World country and a Third World dictatorship right here at home. The State Department, the Defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services and all of the rest need to be completely overhauled and reconstituted. To fire the Deep Staters and put America first – we have to put America First”.
... IMO it requires a lot of trust building before anyone in their right mind would trust Trump. There will need to be a mass movement at the same scale and tenacity as the one that opposed the Vietnam war to simply implement/defend those words let alone keep him alive if he really means it.
Just to bring this article up since someone already claimed that "Aegis can't shoot Tomahawks" argument (which is based solely on Western claims, and ignores the fact that the Aegis System is designed to do just that from ships - both AD and cruise missiles):
Russia may have violated the INF Treaty. Here’s how the United States appears to have done the same.

Exactly. That's why I pointed out the "slippery slope" line: "What difference is it?"

As I've replied to others, this 70-minute video supplied by uncle t is very important, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHdmVnfihss
Karl you said as “an objectivist” is that the same as objectivism of Ayn Rand? I can’t imagine that when I read your articles
I saw nothing objective in any of Ayn Rand's writings--fantasist is a more apt description. I work on facts and fact-based materials in a quest for the truth.
When they attempt to pull your heart-strings, pull your thinking-cap on further.
On my article? That was the one photo in my search that came somewhat close to the subject matter. SEP=?
SEP = Fourth International Trotskyists Socialist Equality Party.
Maybe there is an off ramp for the USA regarding Ukraine. Perhaps Trump and whoever finally becomes Defence Minister can double down on Biden's remarks to Starmer wherein Biden handed Starmer the bag of sh!t he had created. Consider Kit Klarenberg's latest report:
https://www.kitklarenberg.com/p/britains-kursk-invasion-backfires-4a1
and think about what would a Trump do if he found it essential to get out from under a pile?

Adrei Matyanov posted this amusing one minute ditty for our enjoyment: https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2024/11/ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-lol.html
Right on Andrei, right on :)
Well, Karl, since you're leaving these trolls in here to bait me, I guess I'll have to unsubscribe again. Bye.
Grow up and ignore or dominate 'em!
