Wow! Not only taking down the legitimacy of the US, it is further reducing the legitimacy of the UN as it uses veto power to block UN for acting in Gaza.
Maybe, in an indirect way the UN is actually becoming more important because Russia, China and others are pushing the rule of law in international relations. The UN is the only game in town.
