In three days, the second Russia–Africa Summit and Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum will commence. President Putin has written an article aimed at the African audience explaining his vision of relations between Russia, African nations and Africa as a whole. Here it is:
Observing Russia's diplomatic interactions with Africa over the last decade has revealed a very well thought out plan. The continual helping hand with no strings attached method that China also adopted has reaped great benefits. In stark contrast, the actions of the Outlaw US Empire and its vassals only serve to further poison relations. One of the key areas Russia and China are working on is the Horn of Africa that been undergoing destabilization for many decades with the aim of controlling the Red Sea transport corridor at the Bab el-Mandeb and is also the reason for the US war on Yemen. NATO may have destroyed Libya but that action further alienated Algeria and Egypt. And when LIbya becomes whole again, almost the entire North African region will be allied with the Russia/China/RoW Bloc. How Morocco reacts will be key.
