On 21 November an Emergency BRICS Summit was convened to discuss the Gaza Genocide that was reported here previously contained the entire text of Xi Jinping’s short address that went unparsed or highlighted. My friend Peter Watson, PeterAU1 as he’s known at MoA, asked if there was any strong language in Xi’s speech and if I knew where it could be read. I wasn’t certain about Xi’s rhetoric and had already republished it so finding it was no problem. So, here again are the two core paragraphs from his short address that deal specifically with Palestine:
The conflict in Gaza is raging on into its second month. China is gravely concerned that the conflict is causing enormous civilian casualties and a humanitarian disaster, and tends to expand and spill over. China believes that the following is urgent and imperative: First, the parties to the conflict must end hostilities and achieve a ceasefire immediately, stop all violence and attacks against civilians, release civilians held captive, and act to prevent loss of more lives and spare people from more miseries. Second, humanitarian corridors must be kept secure and unimpeded, and more humanitarian assistance should be provided to the population in Gaza. The collective punishment of people in Gaza in the form of forced transfer or water, electricity and fuel deprivation must stop. Third, the international community must act with practical measures to prevent the conflict from spilling over and endangering stability in the Middle East as a whole. China supports the resolution adopted at the emergency special session of the U.N. General Assembly on October 27. The U.N. Security Council under China's presidency has adopted Resolution 2712. All the parties must act to deliver on these resolutions through concrete measures on the ground.
The root cause of the Palestinian-Israeli situation is the fact that the right of the Palestinian people to statehood, their right to existence, and their right of return have long been ignored. I have emphasized on many occasions that the only viable way to break the cycle of Palestinian-Israeli conflict lies in the two-state solution, in the restoration of the legitimate national rights of Palestine, and in the establishment of an independent State of Palestine. There can be no sustainable peace and security in the Middle East without a just solution to the question of Palestine. China calls for early convening of an international peace conference that is more authoritative to build international consensus for peace and work toward an early solution to the question of Palestine that is comprehensive, just and sustainable.
I’ve bolded the five Musts and China’s Big Picture solution that complements Xi’s Global Security Initiative (I link to and discuss all Xi’s major Initiatives here.) Must is a very specific word that’s often compared with “have to.” Here’s one of several explanations about the key difference:
There is a big distinction in the meaning of must and have to. Must is used when referring to something that is mandatory, or required. Have to, on the other hand, implies that there is some sort of obligation involved.
“… something mandatory, or required.” Now with that in mind, reread Xi’s five musts. The bolded final two sentences are also musts despite the word’s absence. In diplomacy, must is a very hard word, which is usually followed by “or else”. Xi expressed the voice of the Global Majority. Imperialism is in hospice and the Global Majority want it do expire. A needed part of that death is resolving Palestine as Xi suggested, And that means the Zionist Project is now dead, but there’s still lots of work to do. Here’s a reply I made at MoA relative to the ineffectiveness of the Arab nations surrounding Palestine:

Effectively, every nation containing an Outlaw US Empire military base is a colony with its sovereignty restricted to some degree. We see the immediate effect that has on the Palestine situation as the Empire controlled the neighboring states that would be the enforcers of the various UN Mandates, so nothing happened and the Zionist Project was allowed to continue. In order for any peace/security pact to be made a reality between the Persian Gulf and other West Asian states, the occupying power must be evicted--Indivisible Security cannot have a bad actor within its midst for it to properly function. Yes, the Zionists pose a problem too, but what protects the Zionists? I see only one way to rapidly evict the occupying power, and that's for the local populace to get completely out-of-hand to the point where the local authorities join by doing nothing. There're two nations that will need to use their military to oust the Empire--Iraq and Syria. And eventually the Turks will also need to leave NATO and evict its troops.
The Zionist Zealots are fanatics who now lust after the completion of their Project. But Hamas is more fanatical about stopping the Zionists Project. IMO, Crooke's been trying to tell us that, but perhaps he wanted to see if Hamas could last 2 months and resist enough to force the Zionist ceasefire capitulation. It might be too early to say this, but IMO the Zionist Project is dead, in that the ultimate goal will not be attained--Complete elimination of the Palestinians from Gaza and West Bank. We shall see what happens as the month comes to a close. But within the Hamas tunnels there's light, and I'll wager morale is very high.
We shall soon see how far Xi’s musts get implemented. I’m rather certain that Xi made a few things very clear to Biden and his team while at APEC that will remain quiet until memoir are published. Putin proposed the same objectives as Xi but was lower key about them although he was quite blunt as to where the blame for it all lies—The Outlaw US Empire—and not for the first time either. Team Biden’s behavior clearly made them an accomplice to the Zionist’s Project, which became a global PR disaster as that effectively cratered all existing Establishment Narratives leaving the Emperor naked to the world. That global pressure on the Outlaw US Empire and the Zionists is higher than ever before—particularly compared to Ukraine’s conflict with Russia—shows the depth of the shift and movement into the RoW Bloc that wants peace and people centered development—the exact opposite of the Empire’s aim. The Empire may have bases over most of the world, but it’s being made to shrink into its own Bloc as it really has nothing to offer the world aside from professional sports and some amazing geography.

The empire's bases are nominally 'claws' hooking into the flesh of its victims... but in fact they are fat, effete, pain sensitive fingers and obvious points of attack upon the 'body' itself.
This is already taking place and doubtless, I'd think, will accelerate and proliferate.
MSM keeps the facts very quiet, of course.
Once it gets out and become common knowledge that the USA body is having its fingers cut off and can't do anything to stop it then many things will surely begin to fall? US prestige? US safety, security from attack? US believability? US freedom of movement? US freedom from accountability? US access to many things/places?
And so on...
This is a strange time and I think we could say it is like no other 'the American time'.
For three massive things (at least):
. Kiev Ukraine committing suicide, mass annihilation of its own people after first cutting off a quarter of them and declaring war on them.
. Israel committing suicide and destroying all sympathy, all plausability, all chance of 'friendly future'.
. The USA following suit with the above two. Who, of course, are doing it because the US tells them to, makes it possible for them to do.
How to make sense of this TOTAL lunacy?
It's easy, really, isn't it?
There is NO USA. Not as we think. Not a Nation State with a government with some concern for that State (at whatever cost to its peoples)
For the first time in the history of the world I think (not being any scholar of history or anything else) we have a large and powerful State run entirely for the benefit of a few private individuals.
You might say 'no' and point to hereditary monarchs and dynasties.
But I say 'yes' and point to their determination to have 'their' State persist and reign, grow.
Because - so simple - they had nowhere else to be.
BUT today those who 'run' America for their own ends are NOT 'citizens' of America in any real sense.
In the most real sense they see themselves as 'citizens of the world'.
They are at home in the WORLD.
If America turns into a crapheap, as it appears to be doing, and the living becomes uncomfortable and the pickings get slim - what do they care??
They will live elsewhere. Any beautiful place far removed from the madding crowd.
Their wealth and business interests already being global. Even the American business interests being really largely global with offshore factories etc.
'Nationhood' must look really quaint to them.
They are businessmen.
No more. No less. And they concern themselves with business. With balance sheets and profit and loss accounts: and prospects for future massive profits here or there.
People, nations... not their business unless they affect profits.
So: it profits American 'big business' for Kiev to commit slow suicide.
AND it profits the 'big money' that IS Kiev, too.
And it profits American 'big business' for Israel to commit slow suicide. And it profits the big money in Israel too.
And it profits American 'big business' for America to slide into ruin... which is why they allow it and actually accelerate it..
It is not 'insanity' if you follow the logic of Business 101. America's God: Mammon.
And it profits
Meanwhile, back at home the iron-bound members of Congress (nearly all of them) are “Re-assessing” their fealty to AIPAC and Israel itself- as are increasing numbers of Jewish Americans. It’s an amusing thought picturing the minions of AIPAC scampering about like Keystone Cops (or headless chickens)! “The future’s uncertain and the end is always near “ (Jim Morrison)
