thanks karl.. it was a thought provoking read reminding me of the parallels with the past and the present... this quote - it is the 85th anniversary of this today.. "On August 28, 1939, the Japanese-Manchurian troops were surrounded and destroyed."

More people everywhere are starting to see the west for what it is. Thanks for posting, Karl.

Orders of magnitude more people are not. I recommend remaining aware you're views and perspectives and values exist inside an echo chamber the world's majority of people and the nations in control of the world does not share with you.

Unfortunately Sean I feel you are correct though it causes despondency in me and can only think of bread and circus being more paramount to the majority. Sad!!!!

I agree, it's past time to expel the combined west's "diplomats", their media/propaganda organs, NGOs, and even sever the "internet". The current trade and finance networks are operated as asset stripping operations which is what imperial powers do to their client states. Anybody wanting to see how a nation can progress when it asserts its sovereignty should examine the PRC case, and then compare it to Japan (a nation that is now in the process of decay). Foreign undue influence within segments of the population also needs more attention.

Judeo-banderites in Ukraine have become hysterical. Their dedication to judeo-western values shows day after day.

Doctorow: "I was particularly appreciative of the possibility to explain the methodological errors I perceive in most of my peers in the “dissident movement” opposing the Washington narrative who are most visible on youtube these days. I said this not for purposes of self-promotion, but to restore reason and balance to what has become a highly emotional interpretation of what is going on in the Russia-Ukraine war." https://gilbertdoctorow.com/

Verbose and self-indulgent as usual by Z. Maybe a short summary and a link to the original is sufficient? It's not even close to being a Ukraine crisis update.

about - "I wonder when the Global majority will decide to close up all their diplomatic offices within the Outlaw US Empire & Europe and reconvene the UN somewhere more appropriate like Zambia and begin to rebuild its organs sans Western pollution." ask Karl

Please don't hold your breath waiting for this fantasy (unfounded wishful thinking) to occur. It might happen 20 years after Palestine exists as a state across all of the mandate land and people have forgotten it used to be called Israel. The chances of that happening at this point is close to zero.

Thank you for self identifying yourself as a humanist - just another term for a servant of Old Scratch - www.crushlimbraw.com - it's a replay of an ancient narrative.

I really like Ms Z and her talks and pressers, always have. Maria is a real talent and her knowledge extraordinary. I must have forgotten this is an 'educational' space and not for news events, which is behind my comment above. People unaware of her contribution of historical explanations from a Russian pov would benefit many in the curious west I'm sure. the headline left me expecting something else given the crisis situation that it is. Is the mfa blocked in Europe, i can access their en site easily? It did get me to wondering how much (or often) the journos attending her News Briefings shares what she says with their readers and TV news audiences in Russia. I'm assuming like other spokespeople they'd only offer very short quotes too but how would i find out. And so it is.
