People forget that humans are primates, subject to millions of years of primate evolution.
Primates are controlled by the following evolutionary factors:
1) Fear of death - which controls every single action of an animal 24x7x365 from birth to death.
2) Hierarchical social organization: alphas, betas, etc.
3) "Troop orientation" - i.e., genetic behavioral disposition to adherence to local social grouping.
4) "Territorial orientation" - i.e., group defense of territory due to patterns of food acquisition.
5) "Other aggression orientation" - group predisposed to regard any species members outside of the group as a threat either due to resource competition or hostile.
