In the Alt-Media World, podcasts have become a major staple to elicit opinions about breaking news that’s often not being covered by BigLie Media, and there are many platforms in existence with their number growing daily.
yeah, but it's called dialog (not interview) - seems, he doesn't want to underline his Iranian origin or using his ability to access sources in Farsi firsthand. Sometimes he even should interrupt his guests, when they are blundering into technical matters - he is the engineering professor and should be able to correct some of them.
I find Nima on Youtube, he is a very good interviewer with guests who are more diverse in coverage (not propagandists) than mainstream media in USA. I also listen to Napolitano both with Mearscheimer and MacGregor.
I frequently tune in Nima and also WIlkerson. Wilkerson is a regular on Judge Napolitano and I've been surprised at the breadth of his knowledge. He was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and is extremely knowledgeable about Iran because he was part of a group that war-gamed it, I'm guessing in the 80s, in case it got too friendly with the Soviet Union. I especially love his outspokenness on certain subjects.
I've been watching Nima for some time and I've seen Col. Wilkerson on his channel, and on the Judge's Youtube channel. The alt-media give people more room to freely develop and express their understanding and opinions in these matters. Brains would be helpful as its apparent that we're on autopilot and nobody thought to pay for the upgrade to avoid the approaching event horizon.
Col. Larry Wilkerson: "...if we keep on the same direction with the same sorry leadership that we've had since George H W bush..." "...we haven't had a leader, we haven't had a leader since George H Bush..."
If it were me I would have been interested to ask the question: why do you say that? But, anyho that's just me.
I can recommend some people with not only brains but also relevant experience. Were I to, I could be charged with self-promotion and accused of nepotism.
Moreover, Mr. Wilkerson and cohort, it's not like lights have been kept under bushels.
The time to build a fire department is before a fire starts, not after one has started.
The big problem with audio formats is that English is a world language, but billions of people have not learned it for a variety of reasons. Like me, for example. Subtitles are usually missing. Even on YouTube.
Pascal Lottaz with his "Neutrality Studies" uses "SaneVox Network" for translation.
There are people with brains, but they are not admitted to the Washington Warmongers Psychopath Club.
Yep. Nima is a great interviewer. Short questions, long answers.

I have a far amount of free time being retired.

The US is turning into a kakistocrcacy. Bye bye fascist corporate oligarchy.
I think that happened a while back, but it's rule of the worst so the kleptos can steal everything.
Can't it be both?
Inquiring minds want to know
Call it FASKAKISTOCRACY
Maybe it's simply just the case that amerika's best and brightest not being that good nor that bright

I'd like to have a chat with Mr. Wilkerson, but the discussion of US Imperialism would be much different.
The written word, please.
I cannot stand having to listen to people given my possibly high reading speed.
Unfortunately, too many podcasters don't provide transcripts unless specifically agreed to as with Dr. Hudson.
Increase the playback speed.

A great solution.
So I have to look for information in text form that I can machine-translate in seconds.
