Very interesting post. Putin is not only a very intelligent person. As a strategist and statesman he is probably the most outstanding of our time. He has been able to strengthen and unify the structures and symbols of the state with enormous skill and success. His merit is even greater if we take into account that he inherited these structures in really bad conditions. If we add to this the geographical dimensions of the Russian Federation, its diversity and its powerful enemies, no one with a minimum degree of knowledge will be able to deny the enormous capabilities of Vladimir Putin as a statesman and leader. History will remember him as the man who paved the way to multipolarity and the hope of a better and more just world.

I have found myself saying many times lately that “he’s the sharpest knife in the drawer”!

Here are messages for all of us. Putin seeks solace and calm from the sanctum and amongst the holy peacemakers. He is confronted by evil warmongers to the west, potentially devastating war machines (both his and theirs), the keeping faith with the Russian peoples and their wish for a good life. He sends a message through this medium to the faithful, the faithless and the trusting populace. We should hear his messages and heed the warning and comprehend the certainty of his determination. This is way beyond a visit to the temple, it is a very public exhibition of his moment for great decisions and great risk. It is a profound disgrace that the west is governed by deaf, aggressive morons and we are hostage in their caravan.

Great insights, uncle! IMO, he seeks forgiveness as people die due to his ultimate decision as Commander in Chief. The reassurance that he did the right thing is part of it all. I didn't report on Putin's laying the third wreath within one week at Russia's Unknown Soldier Monument, but his solemnity and penitence were the same for all three. And to think of how many times he's performed that same ritual over the years and its impact on the inner psyche IMO elevates Putin above all others when it comes to knowing war's outcomes.

After travelling through Greece and Macedonia last year and observing the Orthodox faithful in their devotions, I am convinced that the Orthodox will hold out against the inhumanity of the diabolical elites. They and the Muslims and the true, old faith Catholics (not the new false pope). The old faiths are not for sale.

It is rather fantastic. IMO, such places are far more fascinating than any Disneyland.

American culture has many mixed cultural ideals, Graceland, Dollywood, the former sacred Blackfoot site masquerading as Mt. Rushmore, etc.

The bison at Yellowstone stand out as an icon as well as the old Indian settlements in the Rockies. In 1966 with a college friend from Rawlins WY followed the Colorado river until we Socorro NM. Sparsely populated then, few gas stations and no fast food. There was a lot of Americana to love but cultural or religious centers are few.

My goal is to visit all the National Parks and have only a few remaining. I grew up with the California Missions and the Camino Real before suburbia drowned them all. Mesa Verde is awesome. And there're other places on the planet I'd like to see besides Eurasia's Imperial Cities. The internet just told me there're 12 kremlins within Russia, 9 in the Moscow region.

Amen!

Roman Catholics prayed for the conversion of Russia since the Apparitions at Fatima in 1917.

For me that was for the repulse of atheistic communism.

Recently, the "Rome aligned catholics" in west Ukraine are usurping the Fatima Apparition for a crusade against the Orthodox, and the pope seems to go along!

The Ukraine and western sympathizers ignore Our Lady of Medjugorge (1981 and on) whose message as Queen of Peace is prayer for peace and reconciliation. I heard that while serving in SAC.

St Augustine's Just War does not support Ukraine!

I am deeply ashamed!
