Very interesting read. I loved the part where Aliyev destroyed Macron and revealed the French hypocrisy. I did not know about the Corsican language ban - so much for democracy and freedom in the West!

I have been saving this article up to read when I had time, and I'm so glad I made the effort. Thank you for a fascinating interview.

Thank you for the transcript Karl.

The biggest most serious problem at the moment, are the unfounded foolish irrational beliefs of national leaders like this one:

"I believe that there is enough political wisdom in Washington, Moscow, and other global capitals to prevent such a nightmare scenario from becoming reality."

Kevork Almassian has strong feelings about that corridor that Armenians think has always been part of Armenia - and it was hundreds of people - sort of like Gaza - being forced out of their ancsetral homes. Not one word about the assassination of Raisi. What was that all about and that big cargo plane from the US that was in Azerbaijan that morning. And Israel. If a leader of a country is zionist...they are a problem, as far as I can see, in the world today

How heavy has Almassian’s criticism of Pashinyan been since it’s clear he’s a NATO pawn?

How did that guy get approved by the Khamenei ? But again, Marandi doesn't think Pashinyan is a NATO pawn, and he ( Marandi ) is careful what he even says about Sharif - that he's ' naive ' As far as I know Kevork has not covered Iran's new president. But what happened to the former president. That must have been assassination. There are Iranian pages that mourn Raisi. still

Of course, Raisi is still mourned. How to prove it was an assassination? If you examine Pashinyan’s behavior since 2021, it’s easy to conclude that he’s a pawn. His anti-CSTO attitude is a dead giveaway.

yes, but how did the Khamenei allow a NATO pawn in ? Tragic. Dr Marandi thinks he's okay but he's careful what he says. You are way more knowledgeable than I am Mr Karl. I don't even pretend to understand Iran. But I love them for all they do for the Resistance. Its the people that voted him in....but I know the Khamenei has a say in who can run for president.

Khamenei is Iran’s Supreme Leader and has nothing to do with Armenia. Iran’s current president was vetted as they always are, and the people elected him. He’s a geopolitical tyro, which is very unfortunate, but that’s how it is.

yes. And it is true that Iran, so far, has not had a bomb dropped on it. Lets hope he can navigate his country through the next years likewise.

it seems you mixed up Pashinyan (prime minister of Armenia) with Pezeshkian (president of Iran)

You are totally right. Shows my ignorance of this whole area of the world. Yes...the president of Azerbaijan is an Israelis zionist guy. But I remember Saker saying that right now - Azerbaijan is a more reliable partner for Russia than Armenia - and yes, I have read a few articles about the President of Armenia - and how he wants to work with the US with everything.
