Looking forward to the opening of a Russian embassy in SF killafornia in case I need to get political asylum instead of the insane asylum.
There was a nice Russian building at Filbert Webster with a bunch of Minarets, not sure but I'd heard it was sold to non Russians, , I guess around the time of the third or fourth term of Obomber.
There's the lovely church of st nich at 15th around church, and of course the ones out in the Richmond district, which is basically Russia in my mind ...
Would Russians like Lavrov to be the next President after Putin retires at the end of his current term? I wonder if he is sufficiently well-known and regarded domestically.
Lavrov will complete his 75th year soon and certainly won't go beyond Putin's term expiration in 2030. Asked about this before, I opined he'd retire once the SMO ordeal is concluded, around 2028, which IMO is when all the dust will settle.
Putin is very fortunate to have Sergey Lavrov who I believe wanted to step down a few years back but was discouraged in doing so.
None of the mediocre western FM's want to face-off with Lavrov and I don't blame them, he'd wipe the floor with all of them.
Against a barrage of degenerate disinformation from western peers on the world stage he's stood resolute and won the hearts and minds of his global south peers.
Sergey is not a young man however, and a chain smoker, so I don't see him continuing in his present role beyond Putin the Great. Still 2nd fiddle to Putin still places him way above any other President, PM or Diplomat in the 20th/21st century.
Not being Russian, I'm only surmising, that Lavrov is a National Treasure.
No one in the US is anywhere close to the great Lavrov. No one could stand up and address the myriad complex topics he did in this meeting/address. The late Angelo Codevilla said Lavrov was the world's greatest diplomat. As to Palestine, eventually they'll prevail. Anyway that's what US wants for the Middle East, ie Muslim Brotherhood control. It already happened in Syria, ie, terrorists are in charge and US taxpayers made it happen.

I cannot fully express to you how much I relate to that sentiment.
