The tactics of duplicity are as always the same, seek negotiation and deliver a sucker punch. It's as Larry would say, more cowbell. The US and satellites are irredeemable and incapable of either compromise or reform its result is reasonably predictable - collapse. When challenged by scoffers my retort is take a look out the window. But when they look the bondage of the implanted narratives kick in and it results in an incoherence. Expanding homelessness, rampant gambling (in all forms), a malevolent medical system, nothing to see here, and don't mention Gaza (it's considered an impolite topic of conversation). For people used to comfortable lives the discomfort is increasing, and look at Israelis who got a punch in the face and now cry in bewilderment, yes, that's a microcosm of the west. Empty shelves will be a minor problem.

I hope that, due to the restraint of Russia and Iran, Israel and the USA are sufficiently depleted to the point where they know that if they start a war with Iran they will lose.

The consensus seems to be that the USA will join in anyways, and I hope they're wrong and that cooler heads will prevail. It's such a dangerous time right now.

Safe travels, Karl.

Putin explained the state of things very well during the SPIEF Plenary session, part of which I posted at MoA. Similar to Putin’s words to global media heads the day prior. Both very long reads coming soon.

ok, with Trump bombing Iran I can no longer hope that he'll be successful in the one promise I held out for...uprooting the deep state. I admit it now, he is just as stupid as Lindsay Graham, just as corrupt as Hillary Clinton and just as disappointing as Barack Obama. I now have to agree with you that he's a fucking buffoon. Ah well, it's not like Western civ was worth saving anyway. Next!

The one thing Trump won’t admit to is being a Liberal because that’s something well beyond his comprehension. A genuine Conservative would never have committed the USA to what’s happened since 1991 regarding its Imperial expansion. If Genuine Conservatism had reigned instead of Neoliberalism, we wouldn’t be facing what we’re facing. I have a What If? story describing what might have been from about1988 onward I’ll write sometime.

oooh story time with Karl. Let me grab a beer and settle in! My theory (not only mine) is that O'bummer was a psyop intended to turn the Damnocrats into neoliberals merely through brand adhesion. An unqualified success by the Yale branch of the cabal.

Certainly very few democrats - and literally none that I know - have considered the divide between policy statements and action by their appointed "representatives."

I never stray far from Candide in this best of all possible worlds.

Well, the “Turning” began while Carter was POTUS and continued to accelerate under Bush/Reagan. The Wolfowitz Doctrine was cemented as policy during Clinton and 911 was prepared to allow Full Spectrum Dominance to be launched. Then 2008 arrived with the massive Bank Fraud and associated bail-out, which finally slowed offshoring and China’s transformation was finally noted. But the choices made by Bush as “shadow POTUS” during the last few years of Reagan’s term is where Conservatism failed to halt the Neoliberal/Neocon drive. Reagan’s “Greed is Good” is a Neoliberal maxim and Greenspan was allowed to help that become aim for the top 10%.

I remember it well. "The Great Orator" my ass. Reagan slurred his way through half his speeches - and I grew up in a house where Norman Schwartzkopf and Casper Weinberger were occasional dinner party guests. I remember the 1st Iraqi war being discussed by high ranking oil execs over dinner and they were laughing because Kuwait was side drilling Iraqi Oil fields and crying wolf the entire time. They thought it was great that they could steal with the full backing and support of the USofA.

How very droll!

Fuckers.

Who was the Harvard fuckhead who came up with the maxim that the Board's sole responsibility was to maximize shareholder wealth? oh yea...Milton Friedman. Little twat. I was working for Paul Allen when the subprime (Dubya's "every American will own their own home...") insurance underwriting fraud broke in 2008. Totally avoidable with either a soupçon of morals or a pinch of ethics. But no....it's your moral responsibility to separate a fool from his money. That cupboard is bare.

Fuckers.

I wish you a safe journey and return, Karl. Looking forward to your coming articles.

We don't have access to The Plan, but in all likelihood you are correct in saying that the ultimate goal is regime change in Iran. This was even telegraphed in the MSM this past week, with breathless descriptions of an Iran broken apart into small fiefdoms. The cessation of all nuclear activity by Iran would be a byproduct of the destruction of its government.

I'd judge the chances of US/Israeli forces destroying the cores of Iran's buried nuclear sites as 50/50 at best. The chances of them bringing down Iran's government as well would be considerably smaller. Note that even if Iran's underground sites are destroyed, it doesn't remove Iran's knowledge of how to build a nuke. Nor will it destroy Iran's highly-enriched uranium, which is almost certainly dispersed. Moreover, such an attack would likely trigger Iran's rush to build a nuke, which according to the Israelis they could do in a week or two. (Perhaps one of the few true statements by Israel on this matter. Certainly if I was Iran, I'd have everything ready to sprint to the finish if necessary.)

So there's much uncertainty about achieving The Plan, even under the best circumstances. And we haven't even considered what Iran's response to such an attack might be. On that score I believe we can confidently predict that it will be serious.

IMO, the chance of success even with nukes is very slim—less then 5%. Far too many variables exist. IMO, it’s what happens next that’s the very Big Question and is tied the Big Picture.

I just listened to an interview of Pepe Escobar. Against all rationality, discounting all the multiple consequences, it seems that there is a good chance that the US will attack Iran. It might be possible to attack with bombs and missiles, but it will take a while to provision an army.

Totally blows my mind that after 5 years of globalist fascist "covid" tyranny, and pure, unadulterated bullshit, Putin remains a shill for the WEF globalist Fascists and Big Pharma, and mandates that for the SPIEF 2025, "all participants, media representatives, and staff must undergo PCR testing for COVID-19 once 24 hours before the first visiting the Forum venuee." (Sic) (From the SPIEF website.)

If Putin still actually believes in that nonsense, he believes in fairies and unicorns, and it puts into question all of his solemn pronouncements and manifestos re world affairs. IMO.

It also diminishes my long held opinion of him as a relatively sane individual.

Please, spare me. That, imo, is crap. If Roscongress were independent of the "capo dei capi," why would they want to restrict participation in SPIEF to covidian cultists, unless, of course, SPIEF is a sham, and the organizers (Roscongress) are simply Kool-aid-guzzling sheeple . By even permitting such absurdity, Putin reveals so much more about his character than I think he realizes. Imo, of course.
