My best takeaway:

But it is very important that now our companies are already producing the necessary medicines.

We are ready to apply the same approach to other types of products. My point is that we will not sit here and wait for Western companies to deign to provide our market with some key technologies, but we are ready to work actively here.

The BeeGees: 'Staying Alive.'

Acco went to Japan some decades ago. Missed connections caused me to arrive a day later. The local Japanese Resident in NY called my wife, 'Acco not alive.'

It was very funny, later.

The really big surprise Russia has in store is its rapidly rising production of foodstuffs. Note Putin’s suggestion of investment into Donbas Ag. The entire region returning to Russia hasn’t seen any real investment since Soviet times and is ready to boom once it gets rubles to go with plans. Subsidized US Ag is going to be beaten at its own game by the non-GMO foods the world wants.

WWII US Propaganda in the 'Why we fight' department had a separate documentary on Ukraine and its bountiful harvests.

Frank Capra (of Capracorn fame) made that one and a few more.

Whole Foods is good but too much 'Whole Paycheck.'

Our regional market in our rural coastal county isn’t very affluent, so we don’t get the Yuppified grocery chains, although we do have outstanding farmers markets.

The combined West's Establishments determination to put a nail into Russia's coffin has backfired terribly on them, although in a perverse way, Russia should be thanking them for helping identify potential strategic economic, financial or structural deficiencies/weaknesses within the domestic and export economies,, remedy those in a timely manner and build the necessary inner layered defences against highly-likely many future incoming attacks, much like those on the battlefield, the essence of the combined West's 2 pronged frontal assault.

It's become heavy duty Monty Python here in the UK with PM Keir Starmer issuing ultimatums to Russia as we suffer major power cuts as happened in Spain & Portugal days earlier.

The only question that remains then is, has our goose been cooked here in Limey-land or will we even have enough/any power to cook our goose this Christmas?

Putin’s actually praised god for the sanctions on more than one occasion. Russia is spurred, its success due to becoming an inclusive, everyone participates and is important society. Yes, Russia has refuseniks, so the inclusiveness isn’t 100% UK’s people need a purpose. Galloway would say that purpose ought to be to oust all the Neoliberals, end the royalty and take control of their destiny.

Love George but even he knows you can never underestimate the ignorance of The British Public, politicians of all denominates (ONE- Self Preservation Societies) depend on it.

Take his seat in Rochdale which he won comfortably in a by-election and despite having his feet under the table, opening an office, having the majority support of a dense Muslim population on the genocide alone, Labour tried all the tricks but if the same number of Muslims had voted for him 2nd time around he'd have won easily. The Muslims and People of Rochdale had just ONE thing to do, get GG in and he'll even get Corbyn and Other Independents riled up and giving Labour/Tories Hell.

Unfortunately Karl I reckon a good 80% of the British Public are oblivious to the fact that Britain is at War with Russia despite a plethora of proven facts to back up this assertion such as Starmer's rousing Parliamentary Speeches, the British army training Nazis not too far from me, a marathon's length as the crow flies, delivering and operating Storm Shadow/other missiles/drone attacks into Russia, planning and coordinating offensives onto Russian soil, providing Zelensky's minders . . . . . .

It's too complicated for the vast majority to grasp basic facts. They know something's going on but can't quite put 2 and 2 together until perhaps they're sitting with/in only candlelight and no TV/Internet. Yes, indeed, a Dagger taking out a primary power plant would also register.

The one thing I could guarantee though despite the lack of critical thinking here in the UK is this - If a street battle(s) were to kick off between Left - Right demonstrators tomorrow and continue for a reasonable duration, say a week, the Right would be destroyed on sheer numbers, say for every 1 fascist there's at least 19 I wanted say much higher like 49 Lefties/Moderates

My wife’s been showing me numerous methods of cooking cabbage so it’s upgraded, which always makes me think of Orwell’s cabbage cooking Proles and how they’re on a leash of sorts. Or perhaps HG Wells was closer with his description of the Eloi, although the Morlocks would be financialized, not industrialized, beasts.

Don't forget the abject stupidity of the average murican either. In this age of instant digital communication and online research material, there is no excuse for the political and historical ignorance that is a modern feature of western society.

No need to "recall the utter heartlessness (genocidal IMO) treatment of Russian pensioners". Just look at Switzerland, Canada, UK and other countries that have legalized or are legalizing euthanasia... even for petty reasons!

Here in Oregon, we’ve long had an assisted suicide law that stipulates you must be of sound mind when making the arrangements. That rule effectively rules out those with debilitating dementias like Alzheimer’s. Overall, very few are done. And then we have what’s known as the medical advanced directive which tells care providers what lengths they can go to keep you alive. I’m at the point where I need to complete an AD and related legal papers for my estate. I’ve been through the process twice before with kin, and the AD is quite difficult, although you can amend it later. My Uncle turns 90 this June. Longevity is in my genes.
