thanks karl... this is a pretty tall and idealistic order to fulfill : "In other words, this conflict won’t end with Ukraine’s capitulation. The entire hegemonic system is being targeted for elimination and replacement. When that’s completed, the conflict will be concluded." i take it that is your idea, or your interpretation of russia's idea?
No. That's based on Putin's vow to do just that. A year ago, I wrote an article at my VK, "A Tale of Two Vows" where I noted the following:
'One week ago on 21 September 2022, Russian President Putin in what's being called his Mobilization Speech made the following vow at its end:
'"It is in our historical tradition, in the fate of our people, to stop those who are striving for world domination, who threaten to dismember and enslave our Motherland, our Fatherland. We will do it now, and so it will be."'
Since then, Putin has reiterated that vow using differing terminology, and we now clearly see the merging of China and Russia's aims with China's Global Security Initiative and Russia's new foreign policy concept--No hegemony allowed. UN Laws Paramount. So, I'm merely reporting, or perhaps bringing to light is a better description, of what Russia, China, and their Global Majority allies plan to accomplish. And you'll recall that once Russia makes a statement, it very rarely repeats that message.
thanks for explaining all this karl... now i understand it better.. hopefully the work continues on, regardless of who the leader is in russia.. as i see it putin is an exceptional leader and he would be hard to replace... leadership qualities that he displays are hard to replicate..
There are some very capable people within Russia's governing system, and I expect Putin to be living and in fine fiddle when he retires in 2030, so he'll have an impact on who contend for president. It's a ways off, but beginning in 2028 it will be time to start handicapping.
i don't doubt that karl, but i do think putin is an exceptional leader and i don't believe - i could be wrong - that russia will see a leader like this afterwards... i would be happy to be wrong, but the odds suggest putin is a phenom hard to repeat... that time is coming soon enough too... and heaven forbid the west tries to take him out.. all the media has been aimed at this demonizing of putin for a very long time and ignorance reigns supreme... lets hope the forces of good overshadow the forces of evil.. i can't put it any other way..
